We are a registered mental health charity (No. 701982) that supports people with mental health problems, across the Bradford district to move forward in their recovery and live independent, fulfilling lives. We exist because mental health problems exist and because they are complex. We all have mental health and our state of health can change at any time.
Mental health problems affect everyone in a different way and they can be devastating. Our purpose is to support people when they face these challenges, and to empower them to move forward. Our crisis support service, Haven, provides a calm, safe space to receive 1-1 and group support, 365 days of the year (10am - 6pm), for people in emotional distress or crisis.

Services
When we were set up in the mid-1980s, we were known as The Cellar Project. A Social Worker working on the Rehabilitation Ward at Scalebor Park Hospital in Burley in Wharfedale realised there was little opportunity or training to assist people with long term mental health problems back into employment.
We are a dedicated and diverse team of experienced professionals united by a shared passion for improving mental health within our community. Before moving into the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS), she worked in organisational development, employee wellbeing and communications roles within the public sector.
The Cellar Trust offers a range of mental health support from a 24hr crisis support service to helping our clients with gaining or staying in employment. We can offer training on a range of mental health e-modules and webinars which you can access via our training platform at livingwell.training. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, you can access our crisis support service by calling 0800 952 1181.
Set up in the mid 1980s and originally called The Cellar Project, we are a registered charity (No. 701982) which aims to provide mental health support in Bradford, helping people with mental health problems move forward in their recovery and live independent, fulfilling lives. We offer four different mental health services to adults across the Bradford district and into Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
By donating to The Cellar Trust, you will be making a real difference to someone facing a mental health challenge. We support people 365 days a year, and we need around 1 million each year - almost 3,000 a day - to continue our life-changing work. Whatever the amount, you'll be helping give someone the gift of hope when they need it most.
