I am very proud and privileged to be able to wish you a warm welcome to St Barnabas Primary school on behalf of the Governors, staff and children. We are a one form entry primary school and nursery school at the heart of the North Common, Warmley community. Our school community is made up of a Nursery class for 2 to 4 years old and seven primary classes.
Here at St Barnabas we take great pride in our holistic approach and believe in developing the whole child, enabling them to learn in their own unique way on their learning journey from Nursery to Year 6. At St Barnabas Primary School we are committed to providing high quality education for all our pupils. At St Barnabas C of E Primary School we believe that Collective Worship plays a very important role in the life of our school. Each day the school gathers for worship. As a Church of England school we base our worship on Christian teachings, values and traditions of the Christian Church. Collective Worship plays an important part in promoting the Christian ethos of the school.
As a Church of England school we are = inspected by Bristol Diocese using the framework for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). This inspection occurs every five years and evaluates the extent to which church schools are distinctiveness and effectiveness.
Leaders have brought enthusiasm, clear focus and direction to the work of this church school raising its Christian distinctiveness and the importance of RE and collective worship.The dedication of the RE subject leader has led to substantial improvements which enable pupils to understand the importance Christian concepts can have for their daily lives and thinking.

All admission requests are processed by the Local Authority and St Barnabas C of E Primary School has no role in this process. St Barnabas C of E Primary School has a standard intake of 30 children per year group. If you would like a school place for your child to start in our Reception class then you must apply to South Gloucestershire Council.
