Sweatroom is a family run, friendly, personal training & class studio based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. We offer 4 FITNESS OPTIONS for you to try and get involved in. Everyone is welcome, especially if you're new to fitness or have been out of action for a while. At Sweatroom we believe in YOU. We believe in a relaxed & personal approach, but we believe in taking your training seriously.

You'll train to your level, train to be challenged or train to be totally awesome. You may sweat a little or sweat a lot but the energy will always make you smile. Whether you're new to fitness or a pumped up pro, our studio and team will inspire and excite, as we believe health & fitness is a lifestyle.
Services
At Sweatroom you can workout with us 1-1 or if you have a friend or family member who is keen, you can reduce the cost with 1-2 sessions. Your PT sessions will take place within our private, fully equipped and air conditioned studio. PT is booked with you by appointment, we will look to find times and days that fit in with your own schedule.
Our cycle classes are high energy and fun- they blend cardio, muscle toning and strength that make you feel great and energised. Every trainer will motivate you and get you cycling to the beat in different ways to push and challenge you. Enjoy great, pumping music during the class and the infectious feeling from the group as you ride together for 45 minutes.
We understand how important it is to train correctly in order for your body to repair and regain shape after pregnancy, which our Post Natal classes allow. Bring your baby along to the studio whilst our trainers provide a workout to keep you staying fit and active, with the comfort of knowing that your little one is close by.
Growing up in a household of fitness fanatics has made Luke fall in love with the industry. Having played competitive rugby as a young man, he has always maintained a high level of fitness. Luke's Level 3 Personal Training qualification and love of fitness makes for a great mix for focus and practicality.

I have been a member at Sweatroom since 2016 - The most perfect studio gym - wonderful equipment with a open and clean great space to work out in.
The PT instructors are of a high standard and look out for your well-being physically and emotionally.
I have particularly enjoyed the online PT sessions for the past couple of years as it has given me the flexibility to continue my workouts whilst abroad or away from home due to work.
I would definitely recommend this place !

I have been regularly attending classes at Sweat Room and have noticed a real change in my body. The classes are really good fun and all the instructors are fantastic. I love that Sweat Room is an independent business run by women (Paula and her daughter Lauren), this means that there is a much more personal approach. I can't recommend Sweat Room highly enough and think the classes are great value for money. Be warned that Paula and Lauren have a sadistic side (#squats) and both seem to count very, very, very slowly!

I started at The Sweat Room back in March at 19st. I always like riding a bike so thought I’d start with the indoor cycling, can’t be that hard!!!!
Well it was.... but in 45 mins I’m burning 500/600 calories.... I try to do minimum 2 classes a week. They are amazing. Different routines every session keep you interested and the weight has dropped off. I’m now 16st and my next goal is 15st. I’m changed it up a little now as I have PT sessions with Lauren once a week for upper body work but still blitzing the calories on a bike 2/3 times a week. I have been going to the Sweat Rooms for over a year, attending classes (mainly spin) and PT sessions. The classes are fun, push you and varied which is brilliant for someone who gets bored in training easily. PT sessions (I’m with Tom) are fantastic, dedicated, supportive and continuous forward momentum. Highly recommend.

Literally changed my life!

I have been going to spin sessions at sweatroom for about 3 weeks now, i aim to do 2 a week if i can.
The building is just at the back of the actual sweatroom building and it is incredible, with air con and the music being as loud as wanted and the lighting is amazing to really get your blood pumping, not to mention the song choices chosen by the sweatcyle team (who are incredible trainers and really motivate and advise you on your goals.
Has it changed my life? Yes it has totally changed my life, when i was first approached about it, i was unfit, out of shape and so unmotivated... 3 weeks in

As a senior girl I felt I needed to do some exercise, but the thought of a large gym filled me with dread, then I found the Sweat Room.
From the initial consultation I felt comfortable, the trainers are very friendly and patient. The classes are small so you get personal help if you are not sure of what to do.
I've been a member for over for over 2 years and have not looked back.
I started with one personal training session and now go 5 times a week.
So if you think the Gym is not for you give the Sweat Room a call and I think you will be very pleasantly surprised.

The unassuming exterior extends to the small and personal classes which the trainers adapt to meet individuals needs and goals.
Alex, a personal trainer, trains my brother and I every week and ensures we give nothing less than 100% so that we are constantly progressing. The time, energy and passion he gives to our sessions is second to none. Week in week out he goes above and beyond constantly ensuring we reach new personal bests and become the best version of ourselves.
