Firstly, this place is a rip off. Their prices are way higher than other fish shops. They do not maintain the water quality, there are dead rotting fish with fungi in the saltwater section and they are all diseases ridden. No maintenance, no care, no testing it seems. The owner is very very rude and disrespectful and doesn't like to deal with customers it seems. Unless you want your tank to crash along with all your fish and expensive coral, don't buy livestock here. Go to AAC in Harlow. It's around 20-30 mins drive, but trust me you will love. They do things properly!

The shop is in a nice place.. plenty of fishes and equipments. Owner and son is well knowledgeable but the lady is not. I had two fish died on two different occasions when took it home it was already dead. She said I should have taken a photo of the dead fish I should have bought the fish back etc. Bad service by her, she should have just given me another fish which cost £10s for them to buy it only cost 75 pence.
I hope they will change the way they work

So these are my own experience. The shop is okay, many options and looks nice. The reason of my rating is customer support (apart from the owner, others are not experienced) and the prices. I am not comparing with pets at home, comparing with other local aquatishops which are also great, here the prices are enormous. I mean like 10 times higher. German Blue Ram 20 each, pets at home 3.99 other local shops between 7-10 but for this you get big sized fishes not baby's like here. I would recommend to look around, before you decide.

Such a large range of Aquatic life at this place neatly tucked away on Romford Road. Very impressed by their range that is not available at the average pets at home store!

Best Aquatic Shop in London. This place is located on Romford Road, Monor Park. Free parking outside, pay and display nearby, 5 minute walk from Manor Park Station. A huge range of:
- tropical fish
- sea water fish
- turtles
- coral
- crabs
- fish tanks
- cleaning liquids
- fish food and autofeeders
- filters and pumps
- tank decoration items
- all accessories
The list is endless and so is the choice. The most impressive thing about this 30 year old family business is the knowledge. The owner Dee really knows his stuff. He has a passion for water creatures and will give you the best

We bought 4 fishes yesterday but today we only found 2 alive. We called them to help us but they didn’t tell us anything. We suspect that they sold us 2 unhealthy fishes.

Avoid this shop at all cost. Apparently, if you send someone to pick up your fish this is a great opportunity to get rid of very ill fish. Received a malnourished sunken belly albino Oscar and a Jack dempsey with a very bad case of flukes. Poor fish couldn't handle it and died in a few days. Contacted store who decided its a great opportunity to sell medication giving the fear that all my fish may be infected!
My other fish got infected by flukes.
Store has been in business for over 20 years unfortunately there's always dead fish in tank.
I've now started purchasing from an online farm Tropco

Aquatics center which has a good selection and variety of fish. Only dedicated fish store that I know in the local area. Slightly better selection than Pets at Home. Removed a star as I visited with my children and unfortunately they spotted a couple of dead fish floating in a couple of the tanks, thankfully that didn't put them off, however I think this is something the owners should be on top of.
I remember visiting this store many years ago, there was much more of a buzz then, this visit felt a little depressing, can't put my finger on why, may be the recent pandemic has had an effect on the

One star si too much! Really dirty, they don’t take care of the fish, overcrowded fish tank. Dead fish was left in the tank also.
Told to the employees that the fancy goldfishes had pinecone disease and I’ve been told that this is how they are supposed to look like.
Place should be closed down.
Staff didn’t cared I was a customer, had to go and ask them to come 3 times.
