At Friendly Fish Aquatics we love community fish and you will find 109 tanks fully of different fish that will happily live with each other so know need to worry if you choose the wrong fish for your fish tank as all will get on.
If we have something that is not suited to community tank our highly knowledgeable staff will advise you before purchasing. We always quarantine our fish for 2 weeks so we know these fish are going to be healthy before you buy them. On visiting our store you will see these quarantine fish tanks high up above the display tanks.

Yes you can we sell essentials for your Fish, like the supermarkets we are not restricted to what you can purchase in store so you can still buy Fish. You are not restricted to what you can purchase during Lock down we are allowed to open as we are classed as essential all goods are allowed to be sold.

Friendly Fish Aquatics is very much a community fish retailer. Most of what you can buy here will happily sit along side with any other fish bought from the store. Fish look healthy, really happy and cared for. Not the biggest aquatics retailer but the variety of common livebearing species is really nice. Saw some gorgeous golden lyretail mollies here. Prices are reasonable, got two nice little ember tetras. Will visit again sometime in the future.

A terrific pace to get fish, aquarium plants and ornaments. I love popping in every time I’m driving past. The owners (local family owned) are very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. Their customer service is outstanding too. It’s no wonder that these guys recently got 5 stars from their government inspection in care for their fish; it’s definitely 5 stars from me! Looking forward to going back again soon! I’d definitely recommend.

Genuinely such a lovely shop experience. My sister and I came into the shop today to purchase a few small fish for her son to engage with for sensory / talking. The staff member who helped us was so incredibly helpful not to mention the time and care, we wasn’t rushed at all (which we was half expecting showing up so close to closing time) We bought all the bits including a tank to set up for my Nephews new fishy friends and was told in detail how to make sure the fish were safe and happy which was wrote down to keep :) Will be recommending to all friends and family

Had my first visit to friendly fish today and had a lovely experience. I was looking for 3 very specific goldfish for my pond (One all black, one all white and one all red) I knew it would be a difficult request as it was so specific but I already had an orange one and a yellow one so was looking for colours I didnt have. After ringing round… several aquatic stores with very little luck, I was amazed to find that Friendly fish had all 3 of the colours I was looking for in stock. He sent me a very clear video of the fish so I could see if they were what I was looking for before making the

Here are the facts of my 3 visits:
Visit 1: went to look around as was nearby and the shop came highly recommended. Initially impressed with clean tanks, healthy looking fish and what seemed like a friendly knowledgeable… owner.
