Services
Locum: / Fixed Share Partner Any extra locums we have will vary in days and times, but will be between Monday - Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm & Fixed share partner Mon & Thursday all day. You should call the NHS 111 service if you need medical help fast, but it's not a 999 emergency. You will be assessed, given advice and directed straight away to the local service that can help you best.
All women patients are entitled to have regular examination, including a cervical smear test. We offer this to all female patients as a routine three-yearly test, or more frequently if indicated. These checks are offered to all relevant patients to monitor, control and manage their condition. Regular screening for these health conditions is undertaken by our practice nurses.
Provide a range of chairs with arms & without arms to assist elderly or disabled patients in standing or sitting. Allow disabled patients to contact us about booking an appointment etc by online booking, telephone, in person, email or by letter. The practice will respond to these requests using the method most appropriate to the needs of the patient.
Appointments can be booked by telephone using our automated service 24 hours a day or speaking to a receptionist, online or by calling into the surgery during office hours. You can pre-book some routine appointments with a GP in the mornings in advance. You will also be able to obtain an appointment within 48 hours with a GP or practice nurse within 24 hours.
As you will no doubt be aware the NHS & General Practice are under a great deal of strain. At the Seven Dials Medical Centre we strive to ensure this does not impact on our patients & we try to ensure we allow everyone sufficient time to address their problems within reason. Appointment slots are set to 10 minutes in order to accommodate as many patients as possible.

I have been a patient here for 7 years now, and generally receive excellent care. My GP is Dr Corbett, who is excellent and always finds the time to go through whatever the issue is - he is especially good with little ones. I sometimes see Dr Torbati who is also great and very helpful, ditto Dr Ahmed. The nursing team are very experienced. Nurse Vicky is brilliant at taking bloods and Nurse Silvia is also a travel nurse. You can almost always get an appointment on the day (call at 8am for morning appts and 3pm for afternoon/evening appts). Pre-covid, if it was urgent and there were no appts, the

Impossible to get even a telephone appointment at this place. The receptionists are constantly speaking over you. They tell you to ring at 8 for an appointment. You ring at 8 they tell you to call back at 3. You call back at 3 and they don't answer the phone. By far the worst surgery I've came across.

If you want to book appointments using their online services you have to register first in person, which would be handy information to know beforehand, maybe include it in the automated message that tells you about booking online, because obv you won't be able to if you've not registered, also just a word of advice to anyone using this service ,i f you point stuff out like this to the receptionist I spoke to she's likely to be quite rude to you about it

I want to say how much my wife and I appreciate the service we receive from Dr Torbati and all his team. Everything is so efficiently run, tests are easily arranged, and results and follow up are fast and so professionally handled. By far the best GP practice we have ever experienced. Thank you for all you do for us and the local community.

I have been with Seven Dials Medical Centre for a number of years and find them excellent; the booking is easy and accommodating, the reception staff is great and the GPs have been nothing but helpful and knowledgeable. They managed Covid lockdown really well, too - leaving the whole family well-supported. My friends have so much more trouble getting appointments and appropriate care - I can't imagine going anywhere else. Dr Saddler is wonderful for women's healthcare and great as an all-round family GP, Dr Meade, Dr Torbati and Dr Corbett have always listened and got what needed to be done sorted

Receptionist rude as anything and kept talking over me. I asked her to not as I'm autistic to which she made snide comments about and need her to slow down. Got called rude and refused treatment. Doctors are lovely but it's the military style receptionist refusing treatement. Don't expect discrimination from a receptionist and now have to put myself as risk by going to ANE

I have been using this surgery for 6 years (as of Nov 2020); much easier to make appointments now than it used to be. I've always found the staff friendly and helpful, however I do get the impression they're all just snowed under and a bit stressed. I feel they are all trying to do their best given the circumstances/capacity to treat number of patients.

Doctors are very lovely here, had no issue with the professionalism of them. However, I have had severe anxiety ringing up to book appointments due to the unfriendliness of some of the receptionists. One receptionist actually raised her voice to me as I misunderstood what she had said. I work in customer service, so as a customer, I am friendly and understanding as I can't imagine how hard the job is! So this use of tone was unnecessary, as I wasn't even rude myself! I had just misunderstood what she had said.
They need to be so careful the way they speak to patients as they have no idea who they

I have been with this surgery for only a few weeks and have already decided to go to a different one.
I tried to explain that the medication I am currently on is making me feel suicidal and that it isn’t safe for me to be on it. Dr Sadler was unsympathetic and frankly, quite rude about the situation.
