The government is providing additional funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools. St Wilfrid's have received 7,900.00 in the academic year 2018/2019. Schools must spend the additional funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but they have the freedom to choose how they do this.
At St Wilfrid's Primary School we seek to embed these values in a number of ways continually throughout the academic year in each of our year groups. These are reinforced during our assemblies. The yearly assembly plan clearly outlines the opportunities for reinforcing these British values through our whole school worship plan.
