Bright Sparks Pre-school
Bright Sparks Pre-school and Out of School Clubs is a privately-run setting owned by the directors Mrs Kelly Goring and Mrs Caroline Bruinsma of Bright Sparks Childcare Limited. Although our business is situated on Summerfield school site our pre-school and out of school clubs are available to children from all over the island and is not restricted to Summerfield children only.

Our pre-school is open for 50 weeks of the year for children aged 2 - 4 years and our after-school and holiday clubs are available to children aged 2 - 11 years. At Bright Sparks Pre-school we strive to create a warm and stimulating environment where learning is fun. Our primary focus is learning through play and exploration, providing activities that promote and extend children's curiosity and awareness of their world.
Services
At Bright Sparks we have an open door policy where we welcome you to come in at any time if you wish to discuss something. We like to ensure that you feel happy to approach us with anything no matter how big or small it may seem to you. At Bright Sparks we are here to support you the parents and carers as much as we are here for your children.
At Bright Sparks Pre-School, we actively promote British Values as defined under the Ofsted Guidance 2014. Fundamental British values, first set out in the Government's Prevent strategy, are democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.
Through play young children learn, grow and have fun, helping them to understand the world around them and to develop holistically. The Early Years Foundation Stage is not about introducing a curriculum for young children or making them read or write before they're ready; quite the reverse.

It is about making sure each individual child is learning through high quality play, that's tailored to them, so they develop at their own pace, having fun, making friends and learning as they play.Your child will become confident and secure, who, when the time comes, will be better prepared for school.
Early year's education can help children to become independent and confident learners, get them off to a good start in life and ready for school. More than a third of families with a 2 year old are now eligible for free early education. You can claim up to 15 hours of free Early Years Education per week over 38 week of the year (term time only) or you can stretch your hours to cover some of the holidays.
We know that the first days can be nerve racking for both children and parents/carers. But there's no need to worry - we do our upmost to ensure that it is as relaxing and as fun an experience as possible. Here's what will happen. Once inside, coats, bags and lunch boxes (if appropriate) are left in the cloakroom - your child will have his or her own labelled peg.

My daughter loved her time at pre school. She still talks about how she loved going and what fun times she had.

We sent our daughter to bright sparks from the age of 2 until she left to attend school. We were so so happy with the pre-school. The staff are child focused and treat the children with lots of love and care. We always experienced positive communication and flexibility when needed. In the 2.5 years my daughter attended we never experienced a time… she didn't want to go, always so excited to see her friends and the 'grown ups'. The setting it's self is flawless, with so many different learning opportunities for the children, the outside space is fabulous and accessible for the children during
