Many of our guests come back year after year because they love Barnside's luxury apartments, comfortable beds, and excellent cuisine.
They enjoy the individual attention they receive while they are with us and they know our local veterinary surgeon will soon have them back on their paws should they feel a little bit under the weather. When it's time to go, most guests arrange their next visit before they leave because they know how difficult it is to get in without an advance booking.

Services
All our guests are accommodated in their own spacious custom-built chalets; each fully lined and warmly insulated. When required, the chalets can be individually heated to ensure that no residents are troubled by inclement weather. Each chalet has its own protected safety run with magnificent views across the garden.
Situated in the beautiful garden of England, Barnside Cattery is located on the A227 Wrotham Road approximately midway between the A2 and the M20. We do have limited parking on the premises but we share a drive entrance with our next door neighbours. Please make sure you do not restrict access to or egress from their property.

Basil has stayed at Barnside 4 times now, including 2 stays of 2 weeks. He is really happy there and is clearly very well looked after by Lynne and her team, meaning I can relax knowing he is is very good hands. The pens are spacious and clean, with plenty of room for the cats to climb and move around and with cosy bedding, including heaters provided in cold weather. Highly recommended.

When dropping my two cats off, the Cattery seemed nice and welcoming but unfortunately it was a very different experience picking them up. The place looked unclean and was freezing cold, despite claiming to be heated. On taking my cats home I noticed that they had both lost a considerable amount of weight seeing as they were only there a week and were infested with fleas. Would not recommend at all!

A wonderful cattery. I have been using Barnside for over 5 years now and board my cats three times a year. The lady owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with and nothing is too much trouble for her and her staff. My cats always come back from there very happy, having been well cared for and kept in very comfortable surroundings. I wouldn’t even contemplate taking my cats anywhere else now.
