We are close to the borders of Medway and Swale to provide a secure, loving environment for your pet to feel at ease in and enjoy comfort, calm and exercise during their stay with us. Jasmil Kennels is a family run business owned and run on a daily basis by Barry and Corrina Shuttlewood.
We are based in Upchurch but we cover all surrounding areas and our quarters are situated within a beautiful village setting. We have 5 members of staff working with us where there is at least one member of staff on the premises around the clock, seven days a week. Services
At Jasmil Kennels we pride ourselves with our valuable team of staff. The kennels are owned and run on a daily basis by Barry and Corrina Shuttlewood who have run the kennels for the last 14 years but have taken over a long running service of over 50 years. At Jasmil kennels all our staff are given ongoing professional development.
At Jasmil Kennels and Cattery Ltd we have a licence to board 58 dogs so you can imagine we need to ensure that we provide a good service to both our human and animal customers, in order for us to provide an excellent service we ask that the following points are considered. Jasmil Kennels and Cattery has now gone mobile, we are able to offer our dog grooming service out into the community within the Medway and Swale areas. Our fully equipped mobile dog grooming unit enables us to offer a mobile bathing, drying and grooming service, so if your dog is in need of a wash n brush up please feel free to give us a call on the number above and we will be pleased to offer our advice, support and an estimate.

Tried to book my cat in for the beginning of October, told there was availability but due to being a new customer I would need to attend to look around and fill in paperwork. When asked when I could do this I was told not until the middle to the end of September and a place could not be reserved. Stupid procedure who is going to leave it to the last minute to book their cat in??? Obviously not at all interested in getting new customers. Would not recommend

Me and my family have been using Jasmil kennels for around 5/6 years now when we go on holiday.
They seem to be very friendly and helpful people nothing is ever too much to ask for.
They have always helped with every request I have ever asked for, if it means one of my dogs or cats need medication or a special food diet or one of them cannot be feed at the same time.
right down to one of my dogs being very small and I was worried whether she would be warm enough or too small to be in the kennels the lady advised me on what coat I could bring and if I did not have one she would provide my little

My daughter was quite upset when picking my dog up from the kennels as he wasn't that bothered to see her. No problems with settling back at home & he didn't seem to resent being there. Many friends had told me to expect the sulks from my dog as their dogs had, on returning from kennels. My dog seems to have enjoyed his week away as much as we did. He will definitely be returning if the occasion arises. Excellent VFM.
