Learning through play, getting messy, having lots of fun, using our imaginations, laughing a lot, singing, dancing, inspiring creativity, drawing, painting, digging, exploring, getting lots of fresh air, playing outside, letting children be children and so, so, so much more!. We endeavour to offer high quality, safe, caring, inclusive, non-discriminatory childcare, in happy and nurturing surroundings.
Our nursery is built on our team. We believe one of our strengths as a little family-run nursery, is that we treat each other like family too. We pride ourselves on offering that 'home-from-home' feeling at nursery, and we hope that when your child attends our setting, you feel part of that. When you send your child to us, you are welcoming us in to your lives.
The Nursery operates from a converted bungalow, on the corner of a quiet, residential cul-de-sac. The Nursery has a large, private outdoor garden to the rear of the property, as well as on-site private parent parking, which is set back from the road. Your little one is with us in this room from when they start Nursery, to around 18-24 months when they are ready to move on to toddler room.
We are currently in the process of making some improvements to our setting, inside and out, so we have created a gallery area so that we can share some photos throughout the process. Everything we have done so far has been re-using materials we already had - recycling and up-cycling whatever we can.
At The Old Railway House, prepare food on-site every day. Where possible we use fresh ingredients and there is no added salt in our recipes. We have a four week rotating meal menu, packed with balanced, nutritional and tasty food. We review our menus on a regular basis and incorporate seasonal favourites along the way.

I have only great things to say about this nursery - it feels like home from home, the staff are amazing & our 2 children have loved it. Our eldest son was there for over 2 years & our youngest has been there for 18 months & counting. Both our boys have come on so much for being there which is a credit to how the nursery is run by the staff & its owners. I would also like to mention the Manager & Director, who have been so helpful to accomodate our needs - they are extremely approachable & trustworthy. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My Son Deano came here a few years ago now started 2015 left 2017. The Staff was all Fantastic & Amazing 🙌 One of the best nursery staffing team I have ever seen. They Helped my son so much, he came on very quick with everything learning, walking etc with the help from the staff here. The nursery is also an amazing setting for children! I Would Highly Recommend. Keep up the good work Management& Staff. Deano Said Hello ❤

Great nursery! Our eldest daughter has been coming to this nursery for nearly a year now, she loves it that much when we pull on the car park she can't wait to get in! Her communication and interaction skills have come on so much. Would also like to mention the manager and the director have been extremely helpfull and catered to ours and our daughters every need Couldn't recommend this place enough. Very flexible with me and my husbands work commitments. Will be enrolling our youngest daughter in the near future.
