Services
Richard has been working at Iveagh vets in Banbridge for 35 years. His father John Huey and Hercules Jordan were the original founders of the practice in the 1960's. Richard enjoys routine farm work and small animal surgery, and despite his wealth of experience he still finds nothing more fun than a successful lambing or delivering a litter of pups by C-section.
The practice was founded in 1946 by Hercules Jordon in a small premises on Bridge street in Banbridge. In 1958 John Huey joined the practice and became a partner in 1959. The practice moved to larger premises in Rathfriland street and in 1978 Hercules Jordan retired from the veterinary profession. Iveagh were not our family vets but yesterday my cat was hit by a car. The receptionist picked her up immediately and brought her in.(thankfully she found her on her way in to work!) Before they had even called me she was on oxygen, pain and shock treatment.
She has now had her surgery and they are keen to get her home to us.
They have been so efficient and responsive and I can’t believe how quickly they have dealt with everything. They saved her life and all in a matter of hours. I have no problems with my vets but I will be changing to iveagh now. They have kept me updated so I never had
