We are a small animal practice in Northern Ireland, first established in 1985. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.
We also offer free parking for clients at our practice. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Services
Cromlyn House Veterinary Clinic was founded by Chris and Lynn Heffron in 1985. The practice was initially based in one of the old terraced buildings in the Main Street of the pretty Georgian village of Hillsborough in County Down. At this time the practice looked after both small animals and horses.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your usual surgery on 028 9268 3711 and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Lisburn on 028 9268 0680. MiNightVet Lisburn is our preferred emergency services partner.
If you have an emergency outside of these hours, please continue to contact our veterinary hospital on 028 9268 3711. We are always pleased to receive your feedback and constantly aim to provide a high-quality service, so if you have any compliments or suggestions on how we can improve, we would like to hear from you.

Appointment times are never kept! Always running late. Booked the first appointment of the day at 9.30 to bypass this. Was still 13 minutes late. When I asked how could I have to wait as it was the first appointment I was told the the first appointment is actually at 9.15 . A pity about the poor management as the vetinary care is very good.

I had to take one of my dogs as an emergency a couple of weeks ago. The service I got from Cindy & her team was first class. Even though we couldn’t speak face to face, she kept me updated on the phone about what was happening. I’m pleased to say that with the treatment received, my dog is back to full health. Thank you all so much for everything you do 🐾❤️
