Jubilee Veterinary Centre is a modern, caring veterinary practice that has been serving the greater Ards area for over 100 years. We are easy to find on the Jubilee Road, Newtownards and have ample convenient parking including disabled access. We treat all manner of pets and, unlike other veterinary practices, we have an exciting exotic animal following with specialised vets, nurses and equipment.
We also have a well established farm and equine department. Our facilities have been very recently refurbished and we consult from 3 purpose built, air conditioned private rooms with 2 dedicated modern theatres. We are able to carry out routine and more complicated diagnostic work ups and surgical procedures and accept referrals from vets in the area.

We have a free 24/7 phone line for our clients where you can contact us to answer your concerns and if needed organise an emergency appointment. We have a free 24/7 phone line for our registered clients where you can contact us to answer your concerns, and if needed organise an emergency appointment. This appointment is at our own premises where we have all your pets' details to hand and you will be seen by one of our vets. Depending on the reason and availability of staff and workload, we may be able to do a house visit for our registered clients.
We have a state of the art digital x-ray machine and ultrasound scanner. We also have an endoscope so we can perform minimally invasive procedures, like gut biopsies and some foreign body retrievals. We have an in house laboratory with a biochemistry and haematology machine and microscope. In most cases we can give same day blood results.
Exotic pets come in all shapes and sizes and here at Jubilee we aim to help you give the best possible care for your pet. We are the veterinarians for Belfast Zoo having been involved with the zoo since the 1970's. We are also the veterinarians for many other collections both big and small including the Wetland and Wildfowl Trust at Castle Espie.
One of our qualified nurses along with Nigel from The Patch Dog Training Centre run a puppy party one Wednesday every month. Nigel demonstrates how to teach your puppy basic commands which you can practise at home. And our nurse will be there to give advice on worming, diet, etc. This is a great opportunity to socialise your puppy with other puppies!

Avoid at all costs.
We signed up for the £50 puppy pack which includes first and second vaccines. All was well until AFTER the second vaccine when we were told that they gave him a different set of vaccines than the first as they didn't have enough stock. They then told us we would have to pay extra (~£29) for a totally different vaccine if we wanted full protection.
What sort of business changes the work they're doing without notifying you and getting agreement in advance? A car mechanic wouldn't do it, so why does Jubilee vet centre feel this is acceptable?
