In 2015 we have invested in the latest digital xray facilities with a Agfa CR 30-X digital xray processor and a high frequency Nova 30Kw Xray generator to give excellent x-ray detail. The provision of a Nova tilting x-ray table makes taking myelogram radiographs uncomplicated.
Our Radiology (X-ray) facilities aid our Veterinary Surgeons to visualise the internal organs and bones of our patients allowing us to quickly make the best treatment choices for your pet.Digital xray images may be sent and received by email if necessary for referrals to our clinic for surgery. Together the Agfa CR 30-X digital xray processor and a high frequency Nova 30Kw Xray generator give excellent x-ray detail.

Infections at time of surgery or in the post operative period must be kept to an absolute minimum, especially in orthopaedic surgery as complications relating to metallic implants are of greater concerns, and can have a negative effect on outcome. Infection may occur for a number of reasons including unavoidable patient factors including poor immune system, old age, poor circulation.
Over the years Ewing has performed thousands of orthopaedic operations from simple to highly complex fractures, spinal surgery, joint surgery for cruciate ligament rupture, hip replacements from 2008 and was the first vet referral orthopaedic surgeon in N Ireland to provide arthroscopic key hole surgery from dogs from 2006.

We found a cat hit by a car in front of our house and the VetOrtho Clinic responsed right away even though it was 8pm.We went to the clinic and the doctor was waiting for us , he took care of the cat and made sure he was okay. I hope there are more peopleout there like this doctor and his clinic. Thank you so much again!
