The Wharf Caravan Park is a hidden jewel in the heart of the North Shropshire Countryside. It is an immaculate park which is situated next to Bridge 55 of the Shropshire Union Canal, run by the same family for over 40 years. It offers peace and tranquillity in beautiful rural surroundings and farmland, at a price you can afford.
The park is open all year round, so you can visit us for summer sun or a relaxing winter break. It is an excellent base from which you can explore local attractions or take leisurely walks along the canal towpaths and enjoy unspoilt countryside. We endeavour to make your visit an enjoyable one; you won't be disappointed and promise you will come back time and time again!

Stayed here for one night, lovely spacious campsite, easy to find, and the lakes are spot on.
Partner loved being able to river fish, and our child loved riding around on her bike finding other children to play with, didn’t try the pub as no food on so hopefully next time we come the kitchen will Be open

Lovely little camping spot got everything you need backs right onto the river Severn just a shame about the 2 fishing pools lost a lot of fish to flooding and the local wildlife. has so much potential but not much fish left in the pools fished both now about 4 times and only evr had 2 tench to 5lb so definitely not worth the £8 there asking luckily the river is on the other side

We had booked before visit, however on arrival we had to wait 40 minutes to get a pitch. Only to find we were put along side a road could not sit outside due to the traffic. Very noisy at night. Not enough toilets for site with only 2 in each which due to the amount of people squeezed in where not kept clean. The pub was nice but rammed due to being bank holiday and didn't serve food saturday night or sunday night. Would not recommend to anyone.

Stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend - only managed one night as we packed up early. The site is located in a lovely setting right on the River Severn and has fishing pools and a pub overlooking the river. We have been visiting this site for several years but have never camped and will never camp here again. There are two female toilets with one shower on site, this is nowhere near adequate for the number of campers that had been packed in. There had been several instances of fighting over the weekend with the police being called and arrests made. For me, camping is a family affair

Unfortunately there was only 1 male shower and 1 female for the whole site, lots of cobwebs and spiders and wet carpets in the showers. It's a shame because the site has got so much going for it, 2 fishing lakes and 2 mins from the river Severn. The Wharf pub was superb with friendly staff, excellent food and drink at very reasonable prices.

. We've been going now since they reopened. The last week there has been fighting, pushing and shouting at staff, cars racing off the site. Alot of police vans and dogs in 2 days. It's a shame really as it was a lovely site and I'm hoping it can be again.. Chose this site due to my daughter having anxiety and panic attacks and my son having learning difficulties, meltdowns and other things. They loved it there Maddie and Tim are lovely they always say hello and ask if you need anything, they keep the site very clean. Any problems they sort out.

What a lovely little gem 💎 everything you need, really helpful owners, local shop and off licence, gas refills, beautiful quaint pub on site which sits right on the side of the river. Toilets and showers were spotless and cleaned daily. This was our first visit but it will not be our last. Highly recommended 😊
