Lancasterian Primary is a safe and welcoming learning community where we all aim high, everyone is included and creativity is valued. We are a two form entry school in the heart of Tottenham, a busy, exciting and energetic part of London, and we are proud of our diverse, welcoming and enthusiastic learning community.
In our vision we state that 'we will make a fairer society' and that, in order to do this, 'we will make the best school'; we persistently seek to find new ways to improve and enhance our offer to our children and the local community, working closely with pupils, parents & carers and other stakeholders to ensure that we are getting the provision right.

Values are the characteristics and behaviours which we all need to 'live' in order to achieve our Vision. Below all of these sit our Three Year Goals, School Improvement Plan, Subject Leader Plans, etc. A society where everyone can reach the top of the mountain, because all of us understand that achieving ambitions includes learning from mistakes.
Safeguarding and Child Protection are the most important part of everyone's job at Lancasterian Primary School. We ask everyone who works with our pupils to follow the guidelines set out within the schools Safeguarding and Child protection policies, whether you are a teacher, member of support staff, visitor or volunteer, we ask that you adhere to the policies and procedures while you are at our school.
School governors are people who want to make a positive contribution to children's education. Governors are one of the largest volunteer forces in the country and have an important part to play in raising school standards. The role of the governing body is absolutely key to the effectiveness of a school.
Our SESIP has been written using information gathered from analysis of achievement data together with feedback from all stakeholders including staff, governors, Ofsted, parents and carers and, of course, our children. The purpose of the SESIP is to: review and evaluate the school's strengths and identify priority for development; set ambitious milestones for improvement; and outline the actions to be taken to achieve these targets.
The term SEN describes the needs of children who have a difficulty which makes learning harder for them than for other children of the same age. The term SEND also includes children with physical disabilities. What kinds of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) does the school provide for?

Wow, Mr. Gordon has been teaching here for like 50+ years? I never knew that!!! He's an extremely strict teacher, but an amazing and funny one he is. I've heard that he recently left, which is very unfortunate (2018 I believe). Never knew the school was here even before the 50's, it really is fascinating, all those students are now around 60. Mr. Gordons students are probably like 40/50 right now... I've had great experiences here, it'll stay with me till my death, there are amazing teachers like Ms. Catheline, Pat (heard Pat studied here in the 50's, and then became a teacher here, 80's-2015?

Lancasterian is a fantastic school. All staff are welcoming and friendly to parents and children. They are warm and caring and give extra input and support to all children. My son loves going to school and learning in the amazing and variety of ways that the teachers provide inside and out the class room. My second son can't wait to start on September and I Highly recommend Lancasterian.

I attended this school back in the 1950's. It was an excellent school then and to have lasted this long I believe it must still be an excellent school.
I was taught then by a Mr Hewitt who instilled into me the importance of learning my times tables and of being able to do sums in my head without the use of anything but my brain!
I remember him also teaching our class what the term "Shanksy's Pony" meant!
I've still got my yearly exam reports so this school has lived with me for many a year.
I am now in my late 60's, living in Lancashire and will try to go back to school the next time I am
