Parbold Equestrian Centre is at the foot of Parbold Hill in Lancashire. Set in 18 acres of farm land, it is a place of natural beauty, nestled between the River Douglas and the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Nicola Bennett, BHSII(SM) bought the centre (then Douglas Farm - a small riding school for the disabled), fulfilling her dream to own her own riding school.
PEC works closely with schools and youth groups to provide both equine and non- equine programmes. After 33 years in education( the last 15 years as Headmaster) in both in the UK and Internationally, he saw an amazing opportunity to get young people involved in the outdoors, and so took early retirement from a very successful position.

Stable Lives (SL) is a charity based at Parbold Equestrian Centre (PEC). Born out of personal experience, volunteers at Stable Lives recognise the devastating effect that Mental Health Traumas can have on children, individuals and their families. Our location provides a calm, safe place where people can come to mentally rest, relax and reconnect into society and family life.
Pony Stars is our Junior Challenge Awards helping under 12s to discover, develop and nurture their love for ponies and the outdoors.
