Services
Once a house, the nursery building has been renovated to create a homely environment for all children; four neutrally decorated playrooms, where the children and their valued creations are the real colour, have flexible arrangements to cater for under 2's and over 2's. Practitioner to child ratios are a key part of what we do.
Parents can apply for Tax-Free Childcare through the digital childcare service. Working parents of children aged under 12 can use this, through their childcare service account, to pay for registered childcare. The Government will top-up the money that parents pay into the account. For every 8 parents pay in, the Government will add an extra 2. Parents can receive 2,000 per child per year, or 4,000 if your child has a disability.
Here at Halesowen Day Nursery we provide a healthy balanced diet for all of our children. We have a standard menu and then there are separate menus for babies under the age of one and children with any allergy or cultural dietary requirements. Our nursery chef prepares and cooks all meals and snacks freshly, on-site, on a daily basis, and as a team, we maintain our Gold Healthy Eating Award and 5* Food Hygiene Rating.
At Halesowen Day Nursery we have three Designated Safeguarding Leaders: Sarah Walker, Jenny Longden, Emily Hobday and Lisa Brookes.
Although these team members are responsible for taking the lead with safeguarding matters and undertake additional training to support their position, all practitioners have an awareness and an understanding, through mandatory training, of all matters related to safeguarding children and follow our related policies and procedures.

We have two younger playrooms catering for children under 2 years old - The Baby Playroom, which caters for younger babies and toddlers daily, and the bigger Toddler Playroom which caters for the older, more mobile and independent toddlers. Both rooms are managed by fully qualified Lead Practitioners.

My wife and I would just like to share our experience of the excellent care Halesowen Day Nursery has provided our two children. We chose Halesowen Day nursery from other establishments in the local area as we believed it would provide them the best EYFS experience. We are certainly not disappointed. All the staff we have spoken to are very welcoming and friendly. The children settled in there and made new friends in a remarkably short period of time. Parent communication is always very good, with regular newsletters, daily feedback during collection time, parents’ evenings and individual electronic

We are delighted with the nursery and would recommended it to other parents.
The staff have responded exceptionally to our son's needs. These include a no sugar diet and regular cream application for his eczema.
Throughout our son's time at the nursery his personal development has been rapid. He has been given the platform to make strong and great relationships. At the route of this is his confidence.
Our son is now a very confident boy that has really grown since starting with the nursery. He is able to communicate with us using the Baby Sign that is taught at nursery and when we requested

A wonderfully warm and caring nursery. My daughter has been here from a few months old and will shortly be leaving to start school. The staff have always gone above and beyond to meet my child's individual needs and management are always in regular contact. The food is all home cooked and the activites are really well thought out and stimulating.

From the first day we went to visit the nursery, we felt relaxed and comfortable. Sarah and all her staff made us feel they would look after our daughter like they would their own children. Its so hard to decide on a nursery and to let someone else look after your baby but the staff here made it as easy as it could be.
The facilities are lovely and engaging, there are lots of daily activities to keep the children busy and learning, and they promote being outdoors. Most importantly, the childen are happy.
I would highly recommend this nursery.

We are extremely happy with our experience of Halesowen Day Nursery. Our son settled better than I ever expected due to the nursery teachers quickly understanding his personality and putting him at ease. He never cries when we drop him at nursery and is very excited to be going. He has thrived developmentally since he started nursery and his confidence has improved. They provide a good variety of healthy meals which has improved my son’s eating habits immensely and made him much more willing to try new foods. My son has had some medical problems but nothing has phased the staff and they have

Both of my children attend the nursery, I have the privilege of being able to see them through the day but the support for parents is incredible, all staff make you feel comfortable that your children are in safe, kind hands, my children love being there and have made great relationships with everyone, it has a lovely homely feel that you won’t find in many places and the children are the heart of everything they do, I couldn’t recommend it enough, it’s brought my children on in their development massively and the extra activities and parents workshops offered are a great benefit

Halesowen Day Nursery is a lovely place. very friendly and welcoming from the first day - my daughter has been going since Jan 2018 and was unsettled at first but the staff have worked so hard and she is now happy to go to nursery and is full of stories when I collect her. We have seen many staff members out and about and they always engage with myself and my daughter. The staff are very caring and keep us involved and updated as necessary with Freya's progress. She is learning so much from you all and we feel sending her to Halesowen Day Nursery has been the best move for her and is setting her
