We operate from a single storey building with off road parking at the front of the premises and a fully enclosed garden at the rear. Security at Carousel is paramount. We have an intercom system at the front entrance which ensures admittance to expected visitors only. Staff within each room sit with the children during meal times assisting them where necessary but also encouraging independence.
Child sized utensils; beakers and plates are provided. Smaller groups are formed to make meal times more family orientated. We aim to make this time relaxing to allow the children to enjoy their meal. Children are offered cereal and toast on arrival followed by a mid morning snack of fruit, yoghurt or biscuit at 10.30.

Services
Welcome to Baby room, which caters for up to 6 children, with ratios 1:3 and is a happy and friendly environment where all children are given excellent care and treated as individuals. At Carousel we offer two 'taster' sessions. This gives you and your child the opportunity to meet the staff and also the other children.
Welcome to Tweeny room where the children are aged between 2 - 3 years. Three full time members of staff provide excellent care and fun filled activities for each child. To enable a smooth settling in to Tweeny room we encourage children and their parents to attend two 'taster' sessions for them to meet the staff and children.
In our Pre-school children learn skills and independence which prepare them to start school. Within our caring, well planned environment, we cater for a maximum of 20 children on a ratio of 1:8. This helps us gain an insight into what your child enjoys doing and how you feel your child is progressing developmentally.

I can highly recommend Carousel. Great staff, with low turnover so consistency for the children and parents. Many have been there for years and clearly enjoy their jobs. Really creative and fun play and development. Ranging from cooking to woodwork to park visit to singing and painting. Our son has attended since the age of 1 and we couldn't be happier with the care he has received.

Our child attended Carousel from the age of 10 months right until she left for primary school. The team at Carousel go above and beyond when it came to my child. As a mother returning to work it was quite daunting but Carousel made this journey seamless and I felt confident that my child was being well cared for. Thanks again for everything.

Carousel is a wonderful day nursery and Preschool. Our daughter has attended for 3.5 years now and is thriving. She is excited to go in every day and always comes home happy. The staff are fantastic and so caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Carousel to other parents.

I cannot recommend Carousel Day Nursery, and all the staff, highly enough. As an anxious first time parent and a parent of a lockdown baby I was concerned about being seperated from my little man.I had spent 9 months with him every day and had complete control of his routine. I worried that I was doing the wrong thing for him and suffered immediately with the inevitable mother's guilt.All the staff at Carousel could not have been more supportive and understanding.
