A 13 bedroom student flat available including 2 large lounges with a pool table and a table football table, a separate cinema room, 2 large kitchens and separate laundry facilities. This first floor flat is for six people to share and is located within a five minute walk of the Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham City Centre.

We would collectively like to thank Alex for his continued help in regard to our property. He was the only positive. We were generally treated fairly by Alex and his communication to us for the most part was brilliant. Unfortunately, he was the only one.
We were told that the property was being refurbished before we moved in, and thus expected a property to reflect this; instead we experienced a whole list of problems throughout the year:
• A hole at the entrance of the property that let insects in and the heat out, this was ‘fixed’ with a bigger mat.
• A huge hole in the living room

In my experience, it depends on which member of Oak Letts staff that you deal with, whether you get decent customer service or not.
I reported an issue to one on a Friday afternoon, who couldn't have seemed less interested in a very important complaint. Not satisfied with her reply, I emailed another and the problem was dealt with by the Monday morning. My 5* review is a reflection of Wendy and Clair's excellent service.

If I could leave less than one star I would.
Please do not bother renting from oak student letts. The customer service is appalling and they do not respond to emails thoroughly. They pick and choose what to reply to and when to work.
Unfortunately, due to their negligence I have been living with a gas leak for the past 3 months. Amongst the other issues in the flat- leaking sink above electric sockets, leaking boiler, electrical sockets that do not work. The list goes on.
The repair work is abysmal. I do not know how, with the reviews the agency has, they are still in business.

DO NOT TRUST WITH DEPOSIT RETURN
I lived in one of oaks properties during my second year of university, some bits such as viewing and arranging the contracts where no problem at all. Then came the maintenance and it was pretty much luck if the issue was dealt with in good time, sometimes amazing and others weeks if not months before it was resolved.
When we moved in you are assured a full clean has taken place...our feet came off black off the carpet (they did then send someone to clean it properly) but why wasn't it done to begin with

Disgusting service from this letting agents ignored complaints, lied to owner of the property to cover their mistakes in rectifying hot water issues .. parents escalated to ombudsman as even when you go through their complaints policy you are ignored. Don’t rent with them nothing but problems.

Oaks student lettings -don’t be fooled by this company !! Takes your kids money & don’t care -DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY !! Landlord a joke !! House not deemed safe at beginning not even the fire alarms we’re working !!

Got a bit of a horror storey about Oak unfortunately.
Water ingress soaking the whole wall of my room due to an outdoor leak, eventually started growing black mould and it took 3 weeks of writing daily emails and walking in the office till they sorted it, initially saying it wasn't a problem. Eventually mushrooms started growing in the corner as it wasn't fixed then and I had to sleep on the communal sofa and got very little sleep.
Asked for a rent rebate over those 3 weeks as my room I was paying for was uninhabitable and went well against the Homes (Fitness for human Habitation) Act 2018. Took

I would give this awful company 0 stars if I could! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WORST 2 YEARS OF MY LIFE. Staff rude, and yell at you on the phone, do not listen or even attempt to resolve the problems in the flat. We then got told our flat would not be fixed because we left a bad review!!! We did because we experienced extreme rudeness!!!
I had to call up environmental health on Oaks because they were breaking laws about ventilation with windows, and no one was taking me seriously for 2 weeks.
Refusing to fix internet yet happily charging us £80 a month for it..
