Eye Examinations Report

A routine eye check with an optometrist determines whether or not you require spectacles or contact lenses to improve your vision. If you do, regular check-ups ensure that you are getting the best possible vision at all times. Regular eye checks are also an important part of your general health care routine.

Oct Report

OCT stands for Ocular Coherence Tomography which is an advanced technology eye scan for people of all ages. It uses light to see the different layers that make up the back of your eye in detail. This allows our Optometrist to spot any signs of disease and potential eye health concerns at an early stage.

Contact Lenses Report

Whether you wear contact lenses everyday or for occasional use, we can find the perfect match for you. If you ever wear contact lenses, regular check-ups are extra important. Your contact lenses should always feel comfortable and you should enjoy clear vision at all times. It's important to make sure you have up-to-date specs that you like too, you never know when you'll need to wear them!

Children's Eyecare Report

We recommend regular eye exams from the age of at 4 years old, if not sooner. If you have any concerns before this, please do make and appointment as we can test eyes from as young as 12 months. Regular eye exams as your child grows, helps us keep a close eye on the development of their vision as well as monitoring their eye health to identify any concerns as early as possible.

Just seen Nikki at Richard Pryor, she was amazing, very helpful and friendly, I had 4 pairs of sunglasses which she fixed, one pair had been trodden on I thought were beyond repair and she managed to fix them! Brilliant, thanks again for your help.

Excellent service at Richard Pryor Opticians. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The eye test was very informative and the photographs of the back of my eye were explained really well. I will definitely be returning here in two years time for my next eye test.

Amazing opticians! I’ve been to many throughout the years and this has been my best experience by far. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Jackie who was really friendly. She then took me straight to the Optician Zahir who was charismatic and funny. I’m quite a nervous patient normally. However, Zahir completed a thorough exam, explaining everything clearly putting me at ease. After I was then looked after by Richard who genuinely made an effort to pick the best pair of glasses for me that suited my budget. Definitely a place I will be coming back and I would recommend all my friends
