Snaith Primary School
We are all very proud of our wonderful school community. We hope that our website offers you both information about our school and an insight into the many magical moments that we experience here on a daily basis. Although our school is large (there are 343 of us including the Nursery!) there is a calm, warm, supportive and friendly feel as soon as you walk through the door.

The biggest strength of our school is the relationships that are fostered here.

We are all very proud of our wonderful school community. We hope that our website offers you both information about our school and an insight into the many magical moments that we experience here on a daily basis. We believe that everyone has special skills and talents and here at our school, we strive to provide every opportunity for every child to be the best they can be and truly grow in confidence and character.
At Snaith Primary School after extensive research we have opted to use FLiC as our tool for recording assessment. The system is pre-loaded with objectives children should attain at the end of each year for each subject areas. Objectives are based on the school curriculum taken form the objectives and expectation of the National Curriculum.
Snaith Primary School is an exciting and inspirational place. Our curriculum is important to us! Engaging, creative, and varied, it is enhanced with exciting theme days, visits and visitors, which create memorable experiences and help children develop a love of learning.

We aim to ensure that learning is fun, purposeful and challenging and recognise that the journey we make together provides us with a sense of pride and success, as much as the outcomes. Our school is an incredibly creative place, exploring the arts through an engaging cross-curricular approach and celebrating all talents in whole school performances, exhibitions and sharing afternoons.
Most importantly, I wanted to share with you the thoughts of the two assessors after they visited. They were bowled over by the extremely high quality learning that they saw across the school, and the delightful engagement of all the children they spoke to and saw in their lessons. They felt this was an Outstanding school in every area!
The Governing body at Snaith Primary School is made up of a voluntary, dedicated and hardworking group of people from a variety of backgrounds. They regularly attend meetings and often visit, taking an interest and an active role in the life of our school.

Through the roles and responsibilities they undertake, they monitor the quality of teaching and learning throughout the curriculum, ensure the children's welfare needs are met, monitor the spending of the school budget and offer their support, advice and expertise to staff and parents.
