As per the government guidance regarding lockdown, we will be remaining open for the duration, with social distancing guidelines and procedures in place. We are still working with a limited number of staff in person, but will aim to get you booked in with a counsellor as soon as we are able to do so.
If you would like a consultation, please telephone as we cannot accept walk-ins at the moment. We currently have a lot of availability for sessions via Zoom and Skype for new and existing clients. You and Me Counselling is a charitable organisation established in 2011.

Services
You and Me Counselling is a charitable organisation based in the London Borough of Havering, which was established in 2011. The charity came from the founder's personal experiences, when she found there were no services out there to support her troubled teenaged son. Worried about his anti-social behaviour, she spoke to as many experts as possible, most of whom recommended CBT.
Counselling for all types of psychological problems e.g. Depression, self-harm, Social Anxiety, Parental Separation/Divorce, Anger Management, Abuse, Substance Misuse, OCD, PTSD, Panic Disorder, Phobias, Bereavement and Teenage Pregnancy and Sexual Health. We liaise with schools in the local community to identify and provide early intervention for potential children/young people at risk of developing anti-social and other behavioural issues.
We understand the importance of monitoring the work that we do to ensure we are making a difference and a long-lasting impact on the lives of our clients. This way, not only can we monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our work, but it can also be a tool to help the client see the positive changes they are making in their lives, and just how far they have come in their therapeutic journey.
With thanks to generous funding from a number of providers, we are able to run projects that can offer free support to individuals who are in need. Children in Need has provided funding to support children, young people and their families affected by substance abuse in the family. This consists of both one-to-one counselling for the young person, and family counselling for the young person and their immediate family.
We offer student placements for people who are undertaking training at diploma, degree, or masters level in counselling and psychotherapy. We will support you throughout your entire time with us, offering help and advice where you need it, and providing you with training and other information that you can apply to your professional and personal development.
