The hubby and I went for a one night stay in a standard room, and we were very pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel is. Incredibly professional and friendly staff, nice decor, and thoughtfully furnished bedrooms with great quality linens and all the little touches, like a complimentary minibar, and an iron, a hairdryer, an umbrella, and l'occitane toiletries. The breakfast served in their restaurant downstairs was exceptional.
I'm gutted not to give this lovely hotel 5 stars, but unfortunately we had a pretty bad night's sleep. The mattress was lumpy and there was a green light from the

There is nothing not to love about this beautiful hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff, gorgeous rooms with a complementary mini bar of water and soft drinks , and fresh milk for tea and coffee in the fridge. The full English breakfast was DELICIOUS and after checking out I enjoyed coffee in the lounge before leaving. This is a gem of a place - close to town, has ample parking and wonderful staff. I think I want to live here!

Wonderful staff and great rooms.
The only downsides were that it took ages (5min wait before being seen to) to checkout as both staff were on the phone. In future a self checkout option would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, it would be wonderful if there were vegan options on the breakfast menu, toast and jam is great, but considering this is a premium hotel, additional options would be awesome
