Fantastic gardens.
Organisation terrible. We arranged to have two rooms together, one of our party cannot walk very far. We asked for the room to be near a lift and close to the facility's. The rooms were the furthest away from everything and on the second floor. They did manage to change one room bit it was in a different block so we were not together. We had booked the evening meal for 7:30 as we could not arrive until the afternoon. They booked us in for 6:15 and could only change it to 8:15.
The meals were nice, but I had pheasant and it was tough, I could not cut it at all. I asked the waiter

This is I think a great spa to visit either for the day or with an overnight stay. Friendly service throughout. Food and drink is available at reasonable prices and both our lunch and dinner were very good. Relaxing atmosphere in the hotel means you can really chill out. Where else can you go where you can have breakfast and all meals upto 6p.m in your bathrobe

Great place to stay and relax. Kind staff but kitchen could use a buff. The prices outweigh the quality by far. Duck was chewy and burger for lunch which cost 18 pounds had terrible quality meat. Otherwise it was a great stay. Also the sanitary napkin on our bathroom ceiling was gross but staff sorted it out quickly.

A lovely break. All very clean and comfortable. Food and drink is expensive though. Staff friendly and most are helpful. Some training needed for some staff in how to liaise with customers more effectively. An information sheet would have been helpful on arrival with details of how lockers work and where towels are.. mealtimes etc. Was told it's all on the TV but could not get into room until 3pm to view the TV. Room very comfortable but hair dryer would not reach to mirror which was annoying. Also no magnifying mirror in changing rooms which would be helpful. Overall though a very pleasant stay

Absolutely wonderful two days escape. Walking around with your dressing gown all day, what a brilliant experience. Staff is amazing, very friendly and kind. Spa facilities nice. Many different areas around to relax and do meditation. The rooms are so nice, with nice view. The lake at the back is magical. It is really worth it.

Beautiful grounds, steeped in history. Absolutely lovely staff and really excellent food. Clean, warm, peaceful, well appointed rooms. Spa was over capacity so it was hard to get a poolside bed and there were no treatment slots available to book before we came, or once here. The treatment areas are gorgeous so I imagine this would’ve been a stellar aspect of the weekend in the same way the food has. Liked the salt inhalation room, tropical shower and sauna. Pool a nice temp. Thank you to the staff who wore face masks and were working hard to keep the place immaculately clean. Thanks to the staff
