Services
As a teacher passionate about honouring yoga as a wider practice beyond asana (posture) Rebecca's focus is on helping people find peace and strength through movement, meditation, and yogic philosphy. With a foundation in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and training in India and the UK, Rebecca teaches a range of classes including vinyasa flow, restorative yoga and various meditation styles including yoga nidra and trataka (candle gazing).
Originating around the 5th or 6th century BCE in India, yoga includes a range of physical, mental and spiritual practices with the common aim of uniting the body, mind and spirit. Much modern interpretation of yoga is taken from the Yoga Sutra by Patanjali, written 2000 years ago.

The yoga sutras, a collection of short philosophical statements, broke yoga down in to eight "limbs" or ashtanga (ashta=eight, anga=limb), each of which provides guidance over an aspect of human life.Of these, "asana", the physical practice to which the term yoga usually refers today, is just one of those limbs.
The way to get the greatest benefit from yoga, pilates or meditation is to make a commitment to yourself to practice regularly. We have lots of regular weekly classes, morning, afternoon and evening, seven days a week to help you do just that. Take a look at our class descriptions below to see what might be right for you, or scroll further down to find the booking system.
Want to get to grips with the basics of yoga or pilates before you join a weekly class? Or revisit the basics to get your confidence back? Committing to a course is the perfect way to jump start your journey, opening the door to better understanding and a great foundation to move forwards with.

A four week series that engages both complete beginners and those in need to refreshing or refinement in the fundamental principles and techniques of Pilates.Pilates is a low-impact, high reward full body practise, that centres around the mind-body connection, full body awareness and conscious breath.
We host workshops and special events from our in-house teaching team and guest teachers. You'll find regulars such as relaxation evenings, sound bath meditations, Kirtan and mobility workshops, along with unique one-off or occasional offerings like seasonal retreats, and specialist workshops that invite you to explore a subject in greater depth.

Moved to the area in June and was on the lookout for a gorgeous yoga studio and definitely found one in Sarvanga Yoga. Regularly attend classes here and the instructors are so lovely and I always have the best experience. Highly highly recommend. The studio has such a peaceful atmosphere and is always so spotlessly clean and is really aesthetically pleasing.

I had my pregnancy yoga every week at Sarvanga, it really helped me during my labour, Rebecca is very knowledgable and breathing techniques really worked. My daughter is 5 months old next week, I went back to Sarvanga Yoga today and I had a great session. Highly recommend Sarvanga Yoga.

Rebecca really put me at ease with doing yoga. I have Fibromyalgia and she has showed me ways to adapt the moves and really try to relax my muscles into poses, not working them too hard and avoiding painful posture. I also find the meditation aspect of the class to be really calming and helpful for my mental wellbeing.

Rebecca's got a great knowledge of yoga, no two classes tend to be the same and yet I always feel like I've used every part of my body. The relax session at the end is always a welcome experience, especially the eye pillows! Would totally recommend!
