My friend and my first visit to this pub for lunch. First impressions was lovely bright place, warm with open fire and a pleasant welcome. The food was lovely, full marks to the chef. My only gripe with the food was that mine was served on a wooden board -;I'm not keen. Sadly the service was very poor. The young lady cleared our main plates (not side plate) and at least 20 minutes later no one asked if we would like dessert or coffee. I went to the bar - the young lady was sitting looking/texting on her mobile phone, I asked for coffees which duly arrived. After another wait I went back to the

Our pit stop at The Dove Inn, Corton was random as we were on our way to Dunster in Somerset. What an absolute find! From the amazing food to the friendly staff, it was all perfect. We had the Wild Boar… burger on the recommendation of staff member Lee. He was not wrong. It was delicious. I cannot recommend this gem of a pub highly enough. I will be back!! Thank you

Our meet and greet was warm and welcoming. Our room (No.11) was fabulous, clean and spacious with plenty of facilities for making tea, coffee (a kilner jar full of milk, so no need to ask for more) plus complimentary biscuits and water. A good ensuite shower room and Sky TV in the bedroom. The view was gorgeous, overlooking the Alpaca field. It was lovely to wake up to the 5 Alpaca every morning. Had the BEST meal in a LONG time, Sarah the Chef cooked; A Delicious Chicken with a stilton, creamy mushroom sauce. Mark enjoyed The Wild Boar Burger… We would highly recommend staying and eating here

Amazing!!! Wonderful, delightful!! 😊 I honestly cannot wait to go again and take my family!!!
The food was superb in both flavour and quality. I highly reccomend the fish it is so fresh and delicious 😋
I stayed for 2 nights and throughly enjoyed both I didn't want to leave.
It is a small and cosy place to stay. Beautiful rooms with amazing decor and exceptionally clean. Delicious food and friendly staff!!
My one and only small complaint is that I couldn't get WiFi in my room :(

Absolutely brilliant! The staff are so attentive. Gareth, who would normally be in the kitchen cooking had to be out serving as there was a staffing issue. He's was one of the most charismatic waiters of all time! Thank you Gareth!
All the food was so well presented and so tasty. We would highly recommend it and definitely be going back!
They also have accomodation, look it up. If the pub/restaurant are anything to go by, it'll be just as good...👍🏻

The food was lovely don’t think there was enough staff They got busy quite quickly and where there was only 2 staff members, where you usually get asked if food was ok or if you needed anything else it didn’t… happen . I wanted a dessert but knew it was going to be a long wait trying to get service so we paid up and left . We would go again maybe it was a bit busier than usual not to sure . But I would recommend.
