Excellent little museum, very informative. I had very little knowledge of the silk industry in the area, other than there was one!
The Egyptian exhibition was really good.
I can also highly recommend the' hope cafe' across the main road.

Would advise not to visit until properly open. At the moment only reception, the Egypt/tv room and the small shop are open. We peeked into one of the other rooms, which looked quite interesting, until ushered out. This info needs to be displayed before booking. Was hoping for better and left disappointed. Not much to see 🧐
