The business has been serving the local area since 1980. We are the current owners, Gary and Wendy Denning and we took over the business in 1996 after the love of animals brought us home from the far east. We are located in the North Leverton area just 6 miles from Gainsborough in Lincolnshire and Retford in Nottinghamshire, and 16 miles from the center of Lincoln.
We have over 2 acres of land in a countryside setting which allows us to exercise all our pets safely within our own grounds. Our aim has always been to ensure we offer some of the best pet care in the country. We want to create a happy, safe, loving and fun place for cats and dogs to be cared for.

NORTH LEVERTON BOARDING KENNELS AND CATTERY is a long established business that has been serving the local area since 1980. We are the current owners, Gary and Wendy Denning and we took over the business in 1996 after the love of animals brought us home from the far east in search of a suitable kennels that would enable us to live our dream.

We have a total of 31 dog pens housed in the main kennel block, each having their own sleeping area and unrestricted access to a spacious external covered run. The Kennels have been specially constructed to cater for each dogs personal requirements.
We have twenty individual cat pens that are large enough to house two or three cats sharing from the same family. Each pen has a raised sleeping area with an individual thermostatically heated bed. There is access to a cat flap that leads down to the ground floor with a full length run, plenty of toys, and a viewing shelf.
We opened our grooming salon in spring 2007 and since then it has gone from strength to strength. Both Amanda and Wendy had intensive training in Nottingham, tutored by Liza Cox at Heavenlyz. As well as the two of us we also now have Gemma who is currently studying for her NVQ in animal Care and will shortly be off to receive her professional training.
Georgina Bradley - Just want to say a massive heartfelt thank you for your most fantastic care of our Border Terrier Mabel. She has come home full of energy, completely contented, smelling lovely and clean! Thank you so so much. We are so happy that we have found somewhere we can leave her knowing she's safe and having a great time.

My two British bulldogs went for a 2 week stay and loved it it's very clean lots of space for the dogs to play would definitely recommend these kennels my two dogs have never been apart so they even let them share a kennel if I could give more than 5 stars I would 🐕🐕 big licks from LOLA and Minnie and a big thank you 🐾🐾

I've been taking my dogs to Leverton kennels for the past 14 years and have always been really happy with the care they've all received. They come back looking fit and well and smelling gorgeous. The first dog I took there was very nervous but Gary and the team worked really well with him. Would definitely recommend.

Last year I needed urgent help from North Leverton Kennels because I had one very sick dog and another that needed looking after in a safe environment. Gary fitted me in several times, often at very short notice, and left me free to make daily visits to my vet. It was all very sad but I couldn't have coped without the help I received. The dogs are so happy there and I felt confident that Lucy was in safe hands. The videos on Facebook were wonderful and so reassuring!

After taking Alfie to a regular kennel from being a puppy. The owner retired and the kennels closed. We struggled to find another kennel where he felt happy again and we felt happy leaving him. We came across this little gem in a local magazine and have not looked back since. Gary goes that extra mile to accommodate regular guests. Love the exercise area where the dogs can all interact with each other and also the videos that he puts on Facebook to put your mind at ease. Would highly recommend North Leverton kennels.
