Services
Rough Lee Residential care home is a Registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation for adults with physical disabilities set in its own beautiful grounds in Accrington. There is an abundance of wildlife and plenty of areas for people to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The home itself is all on one level and built purposely to accommodate people in wheelchairs or with a physical disability.
We provide residential care for people with disabilities who require 24 hour support. This is suitable for people who no longer can live on their own or in supported living, or for people who have been supported by their carer and it has become too difficult for them to continue caring for them. When residents choose to live here permanently they receive an in depth care plan tailored to their needs.
Our respite care services to allow you to recharge, safe in the knowledge that your loved one is being looked after by one of our friendly carers. Respite can last anywhere from a few days to several weeks away from the role. So, this short break will enable you to return to caring feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Day care offers a friendly and stimulating home-away-from-home, for people who are still living at home and may need some additional support during the day. We understand that lots of day centres have closed in the last 3 years and that many people have attended these places and felt happy and safe there.
The home was purpose built for people using wheelchairs, frames or blind sticks and is all on one level. We have a state of the art kitchen and have a huge conservatory for residents and service users to relax in or maybe use the computers. All the bedrooms have been decorated to the choice of the individual and are fitted with bedroom furniture we also have two rooms which are en-suite.
