Having been caring for children since 1995, our friendly and diverse male and female team provides childcare from birth to five years. All members of staff have been DBS checked to an enhanced level and are fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Safeguarding, Level 2 Food Hygiene, manual handling and fire safety.
In addition to this, childcare qualifications amongst our team of Early Years Educators range from Level 2 NVQ Children's Workforce up to Level 6 Early Years Degree. We attend regular training to keep us up to date and we understand the importance of training and quality monitoring systems offered by Surrey County Council, which help us to continually develop our practice.

At Woodlands Day Care we work in partnership with parents to provide early education from birth to five. Here at Woodlands, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and encourage a holistic approach to learning through play starting with the babies, through to our pre-preschool toddlers, and maintained all the way to the preschoolers developing 'School Readiness'.
Our aim is to provide a safe and happy caring environment, where each child can develop to their full potential, leading to 'School Readiness'. We provide the children in our care with a wide range of experiences in a spacious open plan environment inside and out. Indoors we provide an ample play space covering seven play areas, allowing for both active and quieter play simultaneously for children's varying needs throughout the day.
Woodlands proved the perfect foundation for our children, Georgina and Finn. Both of them have made the transition from pre-school to 'big' school almost seamlessly, in no small part due to the excellent preparation they received at Woodlands. They are confident, quick and eager to learn and as a result they have received excellent reports from their teachers.
