Our garden shoes are made from a unique special formula of expanded foam - no rubber at all! It's a foam-like substance which has been chosen for its durability meaning itwill not perish or crack. Our Ladies shoes are accurate to size and we occasionally offer some designs in half sizes (currently see our Two Tone Clogs).

The most cost effective and planet friendly way is to find a friend or family member with the right size feet for the shoes you have and order another pair! If you've ordered the wrong size, the easiest solution is to immediately order the ones you'd like and simply post the unwanted shoes back at your convenience with a note for us to refund + your order number etc.
Orthotics, sometimes called shoe inserts are devices placed inside shoes to restore the biometric balance to your legs and feet. Whilst there is a fun side to our practical backdoorshoes, there is also a very big benefit in that our shoes are amongst very few slip on options which can accommodate orthotics easily hence enabling our customers who use orthotics to have a slip on option at their door.
We take our responsibility to the planet very seriously and hope that you will be pleased to hear that we're already working on alternative planet friendly solutions. We've developed reusable bags made from recycled paper and are currently in a transition stage. All our new productions are packaged in the new planet friendly paper bags.

A new product hand knitted slipper/socks... very nicely knitted and finished by experienced hands and look hand made. They are true to size and fit very well. They are comfortable and warm. And, I think because they haven't stretched, I feel safe wearing them on the stairs. Ideal for lazy days on the sofa.
I would buy these for myself (73yrs) or for someone in my age group for there simplicity and practicality but I wonder if there are more eye catching colours available.

Think I owe back door shoes a review!!! My dog printed clogs have saved my life this week!!! Traveled all the way to the Yorkshire coast for a week away this week fetching only sandals and my new clogs.....… after a few brilliant weeks of sunshine we was greeted with horrific weather storms and rain and without my parcel coming the last minute and delivering my clogs I would have been subjected to wet soggy cold feet!!! These have been amazing on the beach also, I would strongly recommend investing as an emergency holiday shoe!!!! I may look a fool in my floral summer pants and dog print

Wasn't aware of these shoes until today. Have worn another brand of shoes for years for trekking out into the garden but the tread was not great for the wet. However these seem fab and soooooooooo comfy. The lace up brogue style is hilarious, love them. Might have to buy the chili ones too to wear when bbqing.
