Services
I am a qualified BACP Accredited psychotherapist and counsellor and a counselling-supervisor. My original psychotherapy training includes an Honours Degree in Psychology and Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling and enables me to draw from a range of philosophical and theoretical approaches.

My approach draws from Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Phenomenological, Existential, Systemic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies and my priority is to provide a platform of support for clients to enable you to have the insight, healing and change that you are looking as and when you are ready.
You will have the opportunity to explore and to learn about your relationships, your emotions, thoughts and approaches to problem solving. You will have the opportunity to reflect on your issues and gain a different, impartial perspective. As client, you lead the way in terms of the subjects that are brought up and the time we take to work on them.
My experience includes working with the NHS, the corporate sector, charities as well as in private practice. I work with a large range of people from many different backgrounds, nationalities and cultures and with a wide variety of issues. Sometimes people come to the first session with one main particular issue they want to work on.
I understand that having counselling or psychotherapy can be a new experience and it can be difficult to make that initial call or email. I also understand how important it is that you feel comfortable to go forward and so you are welcome to contact me to have an initial brief chat by phone before making an appointment.
Since I am not available between our planned sessions, we need to work together to enable you to manage between sessions. I need you to let me know if you are likely to need additional support so we can prepare together. If this has not been possible, the following sources can provide support independently if you urgently need additional support.
