Dockside Studios
Dockside Studios is a professional rehearsal and recording facility, situated in central Bristol and run by professional musicians for musicians. It is equipped with purpose built rooms for recording and rehearsing. There is ample free parking by the main entrance. Our rates are 8 per hour for rehearsal rooms and 20 per hour for recording (5 per hour from 12 noon to 4pm Weekdays for rehearsals, excluding Bank Holidays).

Our practice rooms are fitted with 900watt full range systems, Mackie SRM450 active speakers and Soundcraft Mixing desks as standard. We have a fully equipped recording setup built around Protools and a Fostex E16 1/2 reel to reel, offering upwards of 60 tracks in total. Other equipment includes a 72ch mackie 8bus desk, and outboard processors by Focusrite, Drawmer, Alesis, Lexicon, Roland, and Digitec.
Services
Here at Dockside we believe that the most important aspect of a rehearsal room is the quality of the P.A. system. With this in mind, all our practice rooms are fitted with 900watt full range systems capable of handling all modern musical equipment. This includes Mackie SRM450 active speakers and Soundcraft Mixing desks as standard.

Dockside is my favourite rehearsal space in Bristol. Ellie and Steve are fab and all the rooms are well equipped. I've regularly played in a 5 piece band and there's enough space in most of the rooms.

Without a doubt the worst sounding practice space in bristol. Everything is old and tired and hasnt been decorated for many years. Owners not understanding when we explained our issue and still charged us. Ive never known such an awful sound. AVOID

Surprising part of this amazing city, with a hidden original art piece of Bensky, one of the best in my opinion, and a great view of the coloured houses on the opposite side of the river

Great place to practice!
I use it just for practicing my vocals with their Sound system but they have full studio gear for bands in other studios. Ellie and Steve are very friendly and supportive!

We use the studio to record fun parody songs for videos we are making just for fun. The guys at Dockside are great, helpful, flexible and we always have good fun when we visit,

Nice rehearsal studios, it's rare to find one that has windows! Especially with a view of the SS Great Britain. Very friendly people. Bring your own mug if you want a cup of tea. Also be aware of the cancellation policy so you don't get caught out.

This place literally changed my life. Excellent rehearsal spaces with good rates and well-maintained equipment, and a great and sensitive sound engineer who can really bring out the best in you.
