The Monkey House Nursery School is a long established, reputable provider of childcare for pre school children from 2 years old. It has been offering a home from home for children since 1996. Enjoying a prominent position within the quiet rural village of Mapledurwell conveniently situated just off the main A30 between Basingstoke and Hook.

Services
To acknowledge that parents are the primary educators and therefore we work closely with you to gain knowledge of your child and their experiences. Each child is treated as an individual so we tailor the activities to enable them to reach their full potential. To provide a wide curriculum using a variety of planned and purposeful activities that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Your child is welcome to attend the Monkey House Nursery School from a minimum of two sessions up to five sessions per week. Although we do like to be able to be spontaneous at The Monkey House we do follow a general structure to the school day. Of course this is flexible and does depend on events and circumstances.
I opened the Monkey House in 1996, having previously spent many years as a Nanny. Having an interest in special needs has led me to complete various courses including Makaton which we use within the setting. I assisted Nickie in the opening of the Monkey House Nursery School. I am a qualified teacher and have also completed a Pre-school Playgroup Association Foundation course.
