From our location it would be easy to assume we're a country house hotel, but that wouldn't be entirely true. That said, strictly speaking, we're not a boutique hotel either. What we are though is a luxury hideaway, designed to help our guests retreat, relax and indulge.
Located in the heart of North Yorkshire in the traditional market town of Helmsley we welcome guests from all over the world who have come to get away from it all and sample our famous Yorkshire hospitality.Originally an old coaching inn, the hotel was rebuilt and renamed in 1855 by the Earl of Feversham on the site of an older hostelry.

Services
All of our packages and rates require a 150 non-refundable deposit to secure a reservation. For reservations with a value lower than 150 a full pre-payment will be taken. We are delighted to announce that we have recently collaborated with Hooting Owl Distillery to launch our very own, Feversham Arms Gin. The Feversham Arms Gin is inspired by the North Yorkshire countryside. Including an abundance of sloe berries, bay leaves grown at the hotel and birch tree sap inspired by the silver birch trees that surround the Feversham pool which adds a smoothness and oiliness to the gin.
These suites are very much the 'feature' of the Feversham, situated in the perfect location around the hotel, many offering views or direct access to the pool and terrace. These are our most spacious suites which include either private balcony overlooking the pool or churchyard, or a Mediterranean-style terrace with direct access to the outdoor heated pool.
The perfect place when you need some time out. For those looking for a complete escape or to catch up with a friend in a tranquil environment, we have our different spa experience's that's perfect for you. The sensation of smooth warm mud selected for its mineral rich properties deeply absorbs into your skin.
Infused with essential oils to provide a detoxifying experience, escape to our Aromatherapy Room to increase circulation, relax your muscles and cleanse the skin. Just a few paces from the Spa entrance, dive in for the distinct pleasure of floating in warmth while breathing in cold air, all in the centre of our totally private courtyard.

Original room booked was too small and the team at reception couldn't have been more helpful. They were fantastic.
We were moved to a beautiful suite with a view of the pool and we were delighted.
We are returning guests and love the location so much as well as the hotel.
Staff attentive and very keen to please the guests. A perfect location for a break before Christmas.

We stopped for 2 nights 06/12 and was left impressed with every aspect of our stay.
Location - 30 second walk into the quaint market town square with plenty of retail stores, pubs and independent shops.
Service - Staff are friendly, helpful and cannot do enough to make you feel comfortable.
Spa - Very nice. Aromatherapy room wasn't very aromatic but there was plenty of other rooms to use. The relaxation area was very peaceful. The pool looked very inviting.
Rooms - We had room 25 and it was perfect for my wife & pet dog. The rooms were cleaned to an impeccable standard.

Great character hotel and Spa. Lovely heat area and outside jacuzzi hot tub. Outdoor swimming pool was warm. Rooms finished to a high standard and the suite we had was comfy and relaxing. The bar area is light and pleasant, with a good take of drinks served to your table. Dinner was of a high standard, with the scallops a particular favourite. Good wine list, reasonably priced. Breakfast has a number of options from granola to a full English and eggs Benedict. The staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

We stayed for a mini moon for two nights in a pool side suite and couldn't have asked for more. The staff were attentive, the room was well equipped (although missing a fridge!), fantastic on site restaurant, excellent spa facilities and a pool courtyard area that made you feel like you were in the med. All round fantastic stay!
