Even for student accommodation it's a little shabby. No deep clean of house despite the summer recess; broken switches, dripping tap, holes in walls, broken kitchen extractor fan, door hinges not fitted correctly, loose door handles. All reported, yet unresolved.

Just moved in Parham accommodation managed by universal student living. The photos shown on the website are deceiving. The room is cramped up there is no space in any of the average priced rooms. The ceiling is low too and I end up hitting my hands quite often now. Overall and sincerely disappointing.

Depends on what part of Parham you live in. Some of my friends have amazing rooms, that are pretty quiet. Myself I've been next to the work yard and the view from my window is a metal sheet wall, very noisy and no natural light.

There are numerous issues with the property in Canterbury from unevenly fixed pavement to unhelpful staff. As an international student, choosing housing from thousands of miles away is a difficult task that is often frustrating. I found USL on one of the student letting sites, the photos of the rooms looked really nice, brand new even. Sadly this isn't what I got, my room is old, dingy, and hasn't been given a deep clean in some time, despite my being told every room is cleaned before the residents move in. The parking lot is atrocious, they had bits of it repaved but didn't bother to do the whole

Parham Student Village is the location of my first year house at CCCU. It is a complex of around 6/7 accommodation blocks which a large quantity of houses, flats and studio apartments. The prices of the accommodation range depending on what type of room you choose and also depending on the location within Parham Student Village. It is close to the likes of Asda and Lidl, as well as the Sturry Retail Park and Maybrook Retail Park. The reason I don’t give this 5 starts is due to the distance from the university which is the main reason for being here, it is around a 30 minute walk to uni. A part

Lots of different accommodation to suit everyone. Good atmosphere and lots of space.
Better value for money than other accommodation in the area.
