Services
At Student Places, we make it our priority to ensure your student housing experience is as positive and stress-free as possible. Finding, moving into and managing all aspects of student letting can feel overwhelming, so we aim to take away the worry and find you the ideal situation to fit your needs.
Keep an eye out for the Student Places vans, manned by members of our maintenance team. If you report a maintenance issue while staying at one of our properties, you can count on Gary or Brad to come and find a way to get things running smoothly again. Our heating engineers are Steve Nixon and John Barrett and our Electrician is Chris Filmer.

Living in the city centre allows you to immerse yourself in all that the city has to offer, as well as providing easy access to multiple shops and restaurants.

Caroline was incredibly unhelpful and made our lives difficult, with her threatening emails, cold personality and her intentional lack of consideration for our religious beliefs and values. She could not care less about her clients. When simply asking for help, she would return condescending remarks, leaving us feeling helpless. Caroline is ageist and discriminated against us several times for the fact that we were students.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with student places! They are always quick to respond to queries and are extremely helpful! They have a great variety of student houses to choose from. We tried a couple of student letting agencies and student places were the best by far, we are staying with them for another year! All their properties are very well decorated and clean! I definitely recommend them for any student in the Canterbury/Medway area! 😁

Caroline and the other staff were extremely responsive and helpful (they only seem to respond to my university email though). The property had been thoroughly refurbished to a high standard despite previous tenants wrecking it. Maintenance was conducted quickly and to a high standard, replacing our shower unit, a desk and a chair in 1 working day after them breaking for free. Everyone I have dealt with has been very polite and respectful and I would happily use Student Places again.

Trying to get this company to carry out maintenance work on a property they are supposed to manage seems to be like pulling teeth and i am just a neighbour! Hope they don;t take this long for their own tenants. Caroline takes at least 2 months if she ever does to reply to emails and then still nothing is done. Perhaps try to manage the properties correctly in the first place then you wouldn't receive complaints

Compared to all the other student letting agents, Student Places has been the most professional. The whole house hunting process was the smoothest experience I've had and I wish I went through this company first time around! They even have youtube videos of their houses, which you can view after if you are stuck between 2! During the contract meeting everything was explained in lots of detail which I needed and the staff were lovely, I don't understand the negative reviews. The house is also so nice, at first I couldn't believe it was a student house! Very pleased and will be using them again!
