C J Vinten Goldsmiths is a family run jewellers in Leigh Road which was established in 1983 by Christopher Vinten. Since Christopher's semi-retirement in 2014 his children, Lance and Lily, have taken over the running of the shop and workshop.
Lance received a HND in Jewellery and Silversmithing at the internationally renowned Birmingham School of Jewellery, and has gone on to achieve qualifications in Diamond grading and Gemmology, whilst Lily has completed her Professional Jewellers' Diploma.Workshop Manager, Tom, has worked alongside Christopher for the past 30 years.

Here at C J Vinten Goldsmiths, we can complete Valuations for insurance. Christopher was a member of the N.A.G Registered Valuer's Scheme and was therefore fully trained and able to carry out Valuations for Insurance at a high level. Since Christopher's retirement we can no longer complete Valuations under that title, however, his son and daughter, Lance and Lily, can produce these documents at a high standard.

I can’t rate CJ Vinten any higher but I would if I could. Lily and Megan were superb, from day one I knew I was in safe hands designing my engagement ring. With a very specific design and budget in mind they knew exactly what I wanted. From the smallest details to understanding that the ring design may need to be adapted in the future she guided me through the process with ease.
