Located in The Arches on Brighton seafront overlooking the West Pier and sister restaurant to the award-winning 64 Degrees, Murmur was opened by Michael to offer amazing local seafood food for lunch and dinner in a stunning beachside location. Murmur has a terrace overlooking the beach, is children friendly throughout the day and dogs are welcome.
There is a taxi rank one minute walk away at the Hilton Metropole, and one at the bottom of Preston Street. There is also a car park at Regency Square (across the road from where we are on the seafront) with a tunnel leading under the road straight to us.

I'm a little conflicted in what I want to write for my review. The food was very good, especially the lobster croquettes. Prices for the quality of food and service was absolutely fine, but £37 for a decent bottle wine is unnecessary. If the wine list was reviewed to offer decent wines at more reasonable prices then I would recommend and attend again with all friends visiting from out of town. We were also advised that cash is no longer accepted as a payment method. So I'm now carrying around £100 cash as I paid for my friend on my card and I am the one who have to be inconvenienced with a trip

I honestly couldn't write a post good enough for Murmur! You should eat here, period!
The staff was wonderful. Clemont was a great host and helpful to every guest that I saw arrive. Chef Micheal made some amazing food that I will remember for a long time.
The Lobster Crockett was top notch and a perfect starter. The waitress was lovely and recommended the special "Skate Wing" which I had never heard of. I was delighted to try something new and it was amazing. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked, without being an over fishy tasting fish. And desert was absolutely the best. Hot chocolate that

Excellent find. The head waiter took us to a table with a view of the sea and the sunset. We were served by an attentive waiter who knew her job well. All the staff were friendly and good. We must not forget the chef's, each plate was perfect. The tuna tartare was delicious as was the duck salad. The main course fish was fresh, all agreed that the tomato sauce on the seafood tagliatelle oozed with flavour. If you have room for desert, I can recommend the truffles. We will go back on our next visit to Brighton.

One of my favourite restaurants in Brighton! Prices are on the higher end but in my opinion it’s worth it. Excellent food accompanied with beautiful views over the beach. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and drink options. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal there and always look forward to visiting

Nice little restaurant, two couples catching up...we felt quite lucky to be in such a small establishment on a Saturday evening. Staff were friendly and attentive, taking our coats when we arrived to hang up for us. Starters were very nice, arrincini yummy. Three of us had steak from the specials... Steak was cooked to our liking and a good cut, although bone marrow mash leaves ALOT to be desired...we couldn't eat it and all agreed it tasted almost fishy, which did not compliment our meal. We were told it was a VERY unusual flavour and were even brought the bone marrow to our table to try after
