Blackwater Pharmacy

I have always found the staff and service exceptionaly good. If I have encountered any problems they have always be resolved promptly.

Not sure why there are so many and reviews on here. I had a prescription sent here from an out of hours DR and my husband picked it up for me, it was ready within 30 mins of being sent and the staff were really friendly.

I want to thank Blackwater Pharmacy for being open on a Sunday afternoon and saving the day for me!!
I loved the way the NHS and 111 call centre worked together with a local pharmacy to help and I was able to get the needed script asap.

The staff here really are on a race to the bottom for who can be the rudest, most standoffish and intimidating member of the unhelpful team. The system is clearly broken the staff are brutally unhappy and sarcastic and it's only my circumstances that mean once or twice a year I have to try and navigate through their bitterness, which is once or twice a year too many. I hate the place.
Regarding the below reply. I was made to phone your member of staff at the pharmacy and wait on hold while stood in your reception to discuss a repeat prescription.
Hence the review.

Such a miserable place. The staff are unhelpful and come across rude. Like the connecting doctors surgery, everything seems a chore and is made hard work of. No friendly manner or commonsense on show here.

Closed at 5 to 10. I could see their clock through the waiting room window and it matched my phone. I'd phoned a bit earlier to check my prescription was ready for collection and discussed that I'd run out and would be in tonight, and was informed they open till 10. Seems they don't. The place was fully locked up so they been closed for a bit too, didn't even pass anyone driving off... Massively annoyed as I'm forced to wait till 10 tomorrow morning now and wasted the trip. Luckily my life doesn't hinge on their service.

I am utterly disgusted with the pharmacist in this practice, I went to collect a prescription of pain relief for my terminally ill dad and they said the doctor from their practice hadn’t written capsules or tablets on the prescription so he couldn’t give me the pain relief my dad so desperately needed!!!!! I called 111 of whom said she would fax over a new prescription but he refused to accept it...... thus leaving my dad without his medication oh and he was reluctant to even talk to 111 too

Rude staff! Unhelpful! YES the pharmacy is open long hours, obviously need to, it's a way to get customers! Also good at deciding to dispense prescriptions when alternative chemist has been clearly requested. Manager of dispensary is everything BUT helpful. I would rather
be ill or travel unnecessary miles than use this place! Avoid!!!

Convenient opening hours, but the staff need more training. I constantly have issues with my repeat prescription. Don't bother with their online service either!
