Aurora Childcare is a family run childcare provider with two nurseries located within Oxfordshire at the Horton Hospital in Banbury and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. Our aim is to create a true 'home from home environment' that fosters children's natural curiosity for learning and allows every child to grow confidently as an individual.

Services
Situated at the Horton Hospital, with its own access road and parking facilities. Established in 1996, the nursery is located in a purpose designed building, which offers full nursery facilities and equipment in a modern, but homely environment. The nursery has a large garden area which is mainly turfed, with a safety play surface for climbing equipment and a paved area.
Based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington, Oxford, the nursery is located just inside the Old Road rear entrance to the hospital, with easy access and drop-off parking facilities. Established in 2000, Pippins offers full nursery facilities and a high standard of equipment in a homely environment.
Our dedicated and experienced team of staff provide children with endless opportunities to explore the world around them. We employ Early Years Teachers to ensure excellence within our nurseries and are proud of our commitment to staff training and development, which we consider vital to maintaining the high standards of childcare that we require, and to ensuring that the atmosphere in each nursery is a happy one.
We offer a maximum of 6 funded hours in any day to between 9am and 5pm. Wraparound care hours not covered by the funded hours are charged based on a schedule of wraparound care fees for different session options. The government's new Tax Free Childcare is replacing the old Childcare Voucher scheme for new parents and carers.
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. Ofsted reports directly to Parliament and is both independent and impartial. It inspects and regulates services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
