Acres of Fun Day Nursery and Pre-School is located near Newbury on the outskirts of Hermitage, just one mile from junction 13 of the M4. She had long been aware that there was a real need for high quality nursery childcare in West Berkshire. Nicola's dream was realised in 2003 in the form of Acres of Fun, where an exceptional team of staff provide the very best childcare in stunning surroundings.
Her dream was further cemented by being awarded 'Outstanding', in all areas, by Ofsted. Acres of Fun has proved incredibly popular and much of this success is undoubtedly due to the unrivalled quality of the childcare provided by the Nursery. The Acres of Fun team have been carefully selected for their enduring commitment and genuine love of working with children.

Services
Acres of Fun is set in two acres of stunning grounds and provides a unique outdoor environment where children can run freely on open lawns, explore wooded glens and help in our vegetable garden. We have an outside classroom, ensuring that children are able to spend as much time as possible outdoors.
Our Nursery is based in the original house and provides full and part-time care daily from 8am to 6pm for children aged from two months to, approximately, three years. The house remains largely unchanged from the time when it was a family home and many visitors comment on the warm and welcoming atmosphere that greets you when you walk through the front door.
The Acres of Fun Holiday Club is open during every school holiday, and half term, for school-aged children up to 11 years old. The Club is based in our fabulous Fairy House (complete with open fire for cooking and warmth). The children spend most of their time outside in our gorgeous gardens, participating in a range of planned activities.
