West Hollowcombe Farm Self Catering Cottages
Our self catering cottages are spacious and well appointed. Located in the glorious Exmoor National Park we offer absolute peace and quiet. However, with good luck and a following wind, we are only a three hour drive away from either London or Birmingham. The Two Moors Way passes our gate and for the energetic numerous other walks can be explored.

Dogs and horses are also welcome; the latter being accommodated on a DIY livery basis. Alternatively you may simply decide to chill out and enjoy the magnificent views and wildlife. A wide variety of moorland birds and mammals such as hares and rabbits to say nothing of red deer are regular visitors.
Services
All of our self catering cottages are stone barn conversions. Each has a wood burning stove and electric heating making them snug and warm. As well as a radio/stereo, tv with freeview and DVD. There is a range of books and games to borrow. An adventure playground is a favourite for little ones - including our mini shepherds hut.
Just arrived home from a long weekend at WHF and what a fab weekend we had. The owners were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cottages were stunning and cosy and had everything needed, the grounds and gardens were stunning too. The hosts, Peter and Irene, live on the site and provided a warm welcome.
Exmoor, nestled on the north Devon/Somerset border, is the smallest of the National Parks and covers around 267 square miles of stunningly beautiful countryside. There are over 625 miles of footpaths and bridleways; some of which can be accessed directly from our own property. It is possible to ride, cycle, walk or even run all day only touching the roads to cross them.
Horse Riding in Exmoor National Park is a fantastic way to get out into the stunning landscape. Varied woodland, moors and open fields are crisscrossed with over 625 miles of tracks and bridleways, ideal for exploring on horseback. There is an abundance of wildlife, from buzzards to red deer, butterflies to wild Exmoor ponies.
As you approach Dulverton Moor Motors will be seen on your right hand side. Approximately 100 meters further on a large white house standing to the left should appear and immediately after that take the sharp uphill turning and then the first right signposted Hawkridge as it winds up and along and finally runs out into a "y"junction where you turn left.

This is about my 10th visit and again over the moon with my stay. The owners are lovely and friendly. And always helpful if needed. Always clean and tidy and the views are amazing. Again many thanks from the Fitzgerald Clan.

Half term spent here with the family. Cosy cottage and well maintained grounds. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely views. Peter and Irene are superb hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they were brilliant with the kids. I suggest you book direct to them for the best value stay.

Visited a family member here and it is a lovely setting overlooking the forested Exe Valley . The self contained accommodation was well appointed and spacious and there is plenty of space outside for children and dogs to run around.

West Hollowcombe Farm offers excellent self catering accommodation and facilities. Peter and Irene are wonderful hosts who are friendly, helpful and fantastic with children. My children have loved coming to the farm especially to play at the wonderful play area. We will be back for a third visit.
