These friendly and helpful guys have such skill and craftsmanship. The soles and the suede upper on my 1970’s boots had complete come apart. I am so thrilled to have had them rescued and brought back to life. With new soles and heels they almost look like new. Also, the soles on my favourite boating shoes had gone hard and slippery - perilous to wear. These have undergone a full restoration looking smart are comfortable and safe to wear. Thank you.

Very helpful and patient when I went to buy a pair of shoes (a present) for my university graduation. I'm a novice in handmade shoes, which they could obviously tell, but I didn't ever feel like they were just trying to get an easy sale or get me to buy the most expensive pair. They helped me pick a nice pair (after looking at a few) that were good for both my graduation ceremony and for my job interviews that came after.

Have used the Canton Cobbler for quite a while now. Always go that extra mile, great service, Tim and Don are really friendly and very professional. Have used them for shoe repairs and they are outstanding. Never had a problem with keys they have cut (unlike others!!!). They also sell Barker shoes, Tim really knows his shoes and helped me pick the perfect pair (even found out I've been wearing the wrong size shoes for years!!!). Cant recommend them highly enough. Good work lads, keep it up!!!!

I bought a lovely pair of Loake Thirsk boots my pride and joy.I have had these boots for 10 years plus.The boots are quality and very well made.However when I applied to Loakes to get them repaired they would not work on them as I had had a third party repair ? Not to be outdone I returned to the Canton Cobbler in Cardiff where I first purchased the boots.They did such a wonderful professional job that I have nothing but praise for them.Its just a pity that Loakes don.t seem to have the professionals to do the same work.I Highly Recommend the Canton Cobbler.Cobblers as they used to be.Top Notch

I took my large leather medical type bag for a zip replacement. This was the only place that would even look at it for me. The zip was repaired and for a very good price too. I'm very happy with the customer service given, which was thoroughly excellent. My bag has been salvaged and can now be used again. Thank you

Cobblers are a bit of a dying breed. They're getting harder to find, and when you do find one it seems to be a chain.
Well, this cobbler is a proper cobbler. He really mends shoes and he does a pretty good job of it. It is amazing how a pair of shoes that otherwise look knackered, or that have an unsuitable sole, can be transformed for a fraction of the price of a new pair. I have a pair of proper, American cowboy boots and I love them. Really soft and comfy. But they were on their way out and they leaked, the heel was gone, it was awful. A quick trip to Canton Cobblers and they were like
