Bread Bread Bakery was founded in 2010 in order to explore the wonders that can come from naturally fermented dough and sustainable wood-fired ovens. Artisan baking represents a commitment to both food quality and personal health. We have a wonderful team of people that make the product, the service and the story add up.
We all share the intention of making healthy bread that looks beautiful, tastes amazing, reaches our customers in the fastest way possible and arrives in the best condition. Like our bread, we aim to be sturdy on the outside and divine underneath! It's a jungle out there and Bread Bread Managing Director Andreas Bajohra is Bagheera to Bridget's Mowgli, responsible for steering things in the right direction and preparing for all eventualities.

Services
A golden bread made with Italian durum flour and potato, with a moist crumb and unique flavour. A worthy white bread. Our most nutritious bread, full of cooked fermented grains and seeds - enough to make you feel evangelical. A dark rye loaf that is low in gluten and full of sunflower seeds and cracked rye grains and sweetened with unrefined molasses.
This is a great way to get out there and find the best selection of fresh ingredients from local suppliers and artisans. We have had a lasting collaboration with Farmdrop, whom we are very proud to support in their ethical drive to home deliver the best artisan ingredients from local and independent producers.

I came across their stall in Blackheath Market on a rare journey up from the shires and was intrigued as the loaves looked the real deal. Having made a lot of bread using all kinds of ancient grains and heritage wheats I am perpetually disappointed when I buy a loaf from many 'artisan' bakeries as, putting it bluntly, why pay a lot of money for someone else's loaf when you feel your own breads are better. Not so this time. Their Semolina and Potato sourdough was an absolute belter! I'm rarely up in London so suspect this will be my first and last loaf from them, but if you live locally do seek
