Payroll Plus Ltd was established in 1986 with a view to providing payroll services as an independent department of a long established chartered accountancy practice. As payroll handling has become an ever more complex and demanding function, the specialist services the business is able to provide, has enabled the company to develop its range of services.
Judith joined the company having spent 15 years working in the Payroll department of a long standing public limited company. This corporate experience has been invaluable to the business and has assisted in advancing our internal systems and controls. Judith is a key component in the introduction and implementation of our bespoke solutions for clients.
Our team of processing operatives is dedicated to providing the best possible services to all of our clients through continual development of payroll software and close liaison with governmental departments, namely HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and the Department of Work & Pensions. The payroll service solution is created to suit clients' individual requirements with a choice of weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly calculations of salary.
Employers are legally obliged to have in place a payroll system which deducts the appropriate amount of Tax and National Insurance Contributions (NICs) from employees' pay. In addition to calculating the tax and NICs due, you will also need to factor in a range of other payments and deductions such as statutory maternity pay, statutory sick pay and auto enrolment pension contributions.
The bureau is able to offer a full Construction Industry Scheme compliance service with the advice and assistance of a dedicated Construction Industry Scheme Manager. Laura is able deal with the initial registration of the business, verification of subcontractors, production and submission of monthly CIS returns and the issue of the Payment Deductions Certificates for subcontractors.
