We do not really class ourselves as a Payroll Company, we are a contractor compliance team and unlike most Payroll companies, firstly we work for both for the client and candidate.
A number of industries within the Uk are highly influenced by seasonal changes or peak needs for products or services and as a result need to rely upon a flexible workforce. At the same time there are large proportion of people who prefer to seek temporary positions either because they are between jobs, are unsure as to the career they wish to end up in, want to spend time travelling, or for other reasons.
We offer a unique, industry leading and fully compliant HMRC payroll solution guaranteed to pay your operatives reliably and on time, our service covers workers both inside and outside of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS). Self Employed Payroll processing is time consuming both in terms of the actual processing time as well as keeping up-to-date with HMRC regulations.
The contract of employment and general employer and employee responsibilities remain, but everything to do with somebodies pay whether it be hourly, daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly is received, processed and administered by Genius and paid to the worker in the time-frame requested. If the full turnkey service offered by Genius is taken, this includes all deductions for Tax, National Insurance and Employers National Insurance.
If you need to send a tax return and you miss the deadline for submitting it or paying your bill you will get a penalty fine. You will not usuall need to send a return if your only income is from your wages or pension. Genius Tax offers a Service charged at 5 per week for self-employed persons (based on a standard self assessment return).

Genius Money have done my payroll a little under a year now and I can honestly say I would use them for my payroll wherever I am working. They are friendly yet professional and Stuart always helps me with any questions I have. I am always paid on time and even receive a text when I am going to be paid. I have even signed up for Genius to do my tax return and Holly is being extremely thorough and helping me use their app to record my expenses so I can track my return too. 100% would recommend this service!

V3 have been using Genius Money for over two years now and to be honest we would find it a massive culture shock if the service was to be switched off. As far as we are aware Genius is the only Payroll company that actually sources candidates and has the expertise to know what makes a candidate suitable. Genius money called me up and offered me a plumbing job in my local area. I was a little confused as to why a payroll company were offering me work at first but they explained it very well and i was soon passed onto the agency. I have since been in the same job for the past 6 weeks and Genius have continued to do a fantastic job paying me.

Genius contacted me about a role, and offered me it on the basis that they pay rolled me. At first I was sceptical but they turned out to offer a great service at a great rate. They have also sourced me a number of jobs since then, and continue to do so to this day. I would highly recommend Genius to any self employed tradesman!
