My name is Angela House and Pampered Pooch was established as a continuation of my love of dogs. I have owned dogs all my life and have been breeding the "Everillvale" Golden Retrievers since 1996. I also have a keen passion for dog psychology. My interest in grooming began through preparing my own dogs for the show ring and developed from there.
A: I encourage you to bring your puppy in to the salon as soon as possible after they have completed their vaccination course to desensitize them to the surroundings and equipment. This service is offered free of charge. Some breeds more than others will need regular grooming throughout their lives, therefore, the sooner they come in, the easier and kinder it is on them.
At the time of making an appointment, a registration card is completed to take a detailed history of your pet, ensuring Pampered Pooch has the relevant history about your dog as well as up to date information. Dogs are dropped off at a pre-arranged time to suit you and either given a collection time or I will phone you when your pet has been fully groomed and pampered and is ready for collection.
